Byond Tech has launched their latest Android Smartphone, the Phablet PII. The Phablet PIII that was launched back in December had a 6-inch FWVGA display, but the Phablet PII comes with a 5.7-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD 5-point multi touch capacitive screen IPS display. It is powered by a 1 GHz dual-core processor and runs on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean). It comes with a 8MP rear camera with LED flash and a 3MP front-facing camera for video chats. Micromax A27 Ninja with 3.5-inch display, 1 GHz processor now available for Rs. 3399

The Micromax A27 Ninja that surfaced on the official site few days back is now on sale from online retailer Saholic. It has a 3.5-inch (480 x 320 pixels) capacitive touch screen display, powered by a 1 GHz processor and runs on Android 2.3 (Gingerbread). It has a unique Swipe ‘n’ Share feature that lets you share apps, games, photos, videos, songs & more with other Android devices with just a swipe. It has a 0.3 MP (VGA) camera at the back, but this phone does come with 3G support similar to the Micromax A65 Smarty 4.3 that went on sale last month. Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 311 now available for Rs. 13900


Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 311, , Wi-Fi variant of the Galaxy Tab 2 310 is finally on sale from the official Samsung eStore. The pre-bookings for the tablet started last month. The 3G variant, Galaxy Tab 2 310 was announced back in February 2012, and launched in India in May. Other than the 3G support voice calling, other features are similar to the Tab 2 310 including a 7-inch (1024×600) PLS TFT LCD display, 1GHz dual-core processor, 3MP fixed focus rear-facing camera and VGA front-facing camera. Sony Xperia Z and ZL coming soon to India

The Sony Xperia Z and Xperia ZL were introduced at the Consumer electronics show 2013 at Las Vegas recently. With both of them sporting a 5 inch 1080p screen and a powerful Qualcomm APQ8064 processor, they generated quite a lot of buzz at the trade show. It was announced that the global roll out will be started soon, and the above image is the first clue that both the Xperia Z and ZL are landing in the Indian markets soon. As you can see above, straight from the horse’s mouth, the Sony Xperia Z and Xperia ZL are supposedly “coming soon” to India.

Samsung Galaxy S3 and Galaxy S Duos get a price cut, now available for Rs. 28900 and Rs. 12900

Samsung has cut the price of the Galaxy S3 and the Galaxy S Duos in India yet again. Both these phones got a price cut at the end of December. The Samsung Galaxy S3 was launched in India in May at a MRP of Rs. 43,180, it got a price cut to Rs. 34,900 first, back in September, once again in December to Rs. 31,900. It is now available for Rs. 28,900 after the recent price cut. No sign of price cut for the 32GB version of the Galaxy S3. Micromax A116 Canvas HD to go on sale from February 14

Micromax unveiled the A116 Canvas HD with a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD IPS display and a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor last month. It is expected to go on sale in the first week of February, now they have announced that the phone would go on sale from February 14th.
