Samsung launched the Tab 3 211 with 3G support and voice calling last month, along with the Tab 3 310 and 311. Now the Galaxy Tab 3 210, Wi-Fi variant of the tablet is available from online retailer Snapdeal. It has a 7-inch (1024×600) TFT LCD display, powered by a 1.2 GHz dual-core processor and runs on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean). It has a 3-megapixel fixed focus rear-facing camera and 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera. It doesn’t have a SIM card slot or voice calling capabilities like the Tab 3 211. It has a 4.0-inch (480×800 pixels) display, powered by 1 GHz Dual-Core Cortex A9 Processor and runs on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean). It has a 8-megapixel Auto focus camera with flash and a front-facing camera for video calling. It has 35 lumens projector that allows users to project instantly up to 10 feet by 8 feet  in VGA (480 x 640 pixels) resolution. The projector has a contrast ratio of 1200:1. Intex to launch a new smartphone next week, hints at next-gen Wonder series phone

Intex has just sent out a media invite for the launch of next-gen premium smartphone. The phone would be launched by their brand ambassador, director and actor Farhan Akthar. The press invite says “Gorge your eyes on the newest wonder in town” which hints at a new smartphone in the Wonder series. The Intex Aqua Wonder smartphone was launched earlier this year, the successor Aqua Wonder Quadcore with a quad-core processor was launched in April. Micromax and Karbonn take top positions as the Indian Smartphone market surges ahead with the Phablet revolution

You might have seen us reporting on various marketshare reports each month coming from a company called IDC. Usually, the company provides a wider perspective of the global market for mobile phones as well as smartphones, but this time, they have focused on the second fastest growing mobile phone market in the world, India. We saw in June that the overall shipments of Smartphones in India was at just 6.1 million devices, but in a quarter, it has risen to 9.3 million shipments, according to IDC. And over half of the shipments were from local players like Micromax, Karbonn and the others, with the former taking the no. 2 and 3 positions of the Top 5 Smartphone vendors in the Indian market respectively.

Micromax launched the Canvas Doodle 2 A240, the successor of the Canvas Doodle earlier this week at a price tag of Rs. 19,990. Here we have the device for the review. Let’s take a look at the unboxing first. The phone has a huge 5.7-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD IPS display, powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6589 processor with PowerVR SGX 544MP GPU and runs on Android 4.2.1 (Jelly Bean). The Canvas 4 had a aluminium rim on the sides, but this one has aluminium body.

Nokia Lumia 925 Blind Test – Flagship Shoot Out

The Nokia Lumia 925 launched just six days back in India with a price tag of Rs. 33,499. It was announced back in May, as a refreshed alternative to people who didn’t like the bulk and design of the good old Nokia Lumia 920. The camera was supposedly improved, along with the build and design, with a six element lens and all new algorithms, while retaining all the PureView OIS goodness that the 920 was known for. While the Lumia 920 was good, it had problems with defocused softer photos and overall unreliable performance, making it a tougher buy when compared to other flagships. It has a 8-megapixel Auto focus camera with flash and a front-facing camera for video calling. It has a  7.85-inch IPS display, powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core Cortex A7 processor and runs on Android 4.2.2 (Jelly Bean). It comes with a 5-megapixel rear camera, 0.3-megapixel (VGA) front-facing camera and packs a 3200 mAh battery. It has SIM card slot that lets you make voice calls.
