Xiaomi has achieved a new milestone by opening its 500th authorized service center in India in Bengaluru. With this, Xiaomi will provide an enhanced after sales service experience. Earlier this year it partnered with B2X, leading provider of customer care for smartphones for after sales service in India. At that time it had only 200 service centers across the country. Xiaomi’s service centers are now in 350 cities in 3 years since the company entered India.
Xiaomi has partnered with Reliance Jio to offer up to 30GB free 4G data on select smartphones. The offer is eligible to Redmi 2, Redmi 2 Prime, Redmi Note 4G, Redmi Note 4G Prime, Mi 4i, Redmi Note 2, Mi 5, Mi Max, Mi Max Prime, Redmi 3s, Redmi 3s plus, Redmi 3s Prime, Redmi Note 4, Redmi 4A and Redmi 4 smartphone users. Xiaomi along with the Mi Ninebot Plus introduced Mi Laser Projector at its Mi Ecosystem event. it has ALPD 3.0 world’s leading sources of laser technology, wide color gamut and 5000 lumens brightness. It has Mi TV built-in to watch movies and shows easily. Even though it comes with a remote, you can also use your smartphone as a remote. The company says that it has been developed over two years of research and development.

Xiaomi launched its Redmi 4 smartphone in India last month starting at Rs. 6999. Today the company on the sixth week of sale announced that it has sold more than 1 million or 10 lakh units of Redmi 4 smartphones in India since the smartphone went on sale on May 23rd on Mi.com and Amazon.in. With this, the smartphone has broken the record of Redmi Note 4 that took 45 days to cross 1 million unit sales back in March. Xiaomi recently introduced Mi Router 3G, its latest top-end WiFi router in China. It is a 802.11ac dual-band router, similar to the Mi Router 3 that we had unboxed recently, but this comes with a faster processor, more RAM and ROM compared to the predecessor.
