A new Sony tablet is in the making and has surfaced in images. The Xperia Z4 has been leaked on official Xperia Lounge application and is said to have 2K display.
Sony has announced the Xperia E4g and E4g Dual, two new budget smartphones with 4G connectivity ahead of MWC 2015, soon after it unveiled the Xperia E4 and E4 dual 3G smartphones. These have a slightly smaller 4.7-inch qHD IPS display and are powered by a faster 1.5 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6732 64-bit SoC, compared to 5-inch qHD display and 1.3GHz quad-core MT6582 SoC in the 3G variants. Live images of the Sony Xperia E4 (E2105, E2115), the company’s upcoming budget smartphone surfaced on a polish website last year along with a AnTuTu listing couple of months back. Now renders of the smartphone have been leaked by a Chinese website. These images show the smartphone enclosed in a case and another image in a flip cover, but these resemble the live image leaked earlier.

Sony Corporation has reported its revenues for third quarter of the financial year 2014 that ended December 31st. Sales increased to 2,557.8 billion yen ( US$ 21,139 million), an increase of 6.1%. It shipped 11.9 million smartphone in the quarter, compared to 9.9 million the previous quarter and 10.7 the same quarter the previous year, which is a 11% increase. The mobile communications division has reported sales of 429 billion yen (US$ 3,545 million) for the quarter, a 28.7% increase year-on-year and income of 9.3 billion yen ( US$76 million U.S. dollars).
