Sony just announced Xperia XA, the company’s latest mid-range smartphone in the new X series at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2016 in Barcelona. It has a 5-inch HD curved glass edge-to-edge display, is powered by an Octa-Core MediaTek Helio P10 (MT6755) processor and runs on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow). It has a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, Hybrid Auto-Focus and a 8-megapixel front-facing camera. It comes in both single and dual SIM variants and has 4G LTE connectivity. Sony has announced next-generation wireless ear-piece dubbed as Xperia Ear, as expected at the MWC 2016. The Xperia Ear is a smart Bluetooth earbud that acts like a virtual assistant and is powered by Sony’s voice technology.

Sony just announced the Xperia X performance and Xperia X, the company’s latest high-end and mid-range smartphones in the new Xperia X series. Both these phones a 5-inch 1080p screen, run on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow), have fingerprint sensors on the power button, have a 23-megapixel rear camera with new Predictive Hybrid Autofocus that lets you choose your subject and then predicts its motion, so you can capture the action in perfect focus, free from blur and 13-megapixel front-facing camera with 22mm wide-angle lens. Sony will introduce a new smartphone, codenamed Xperia PP10 and a smart Bluetooth headset dubbed Smart Ear at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2016 in Barcelona next week. According the leaked image from @evleaks, the Xperia smartphone will have a curved design, a large power button, similar to Xperia Z5 smartphones and a dedicated camera shutter button, below the volume rockers. Last month Sony announced its MWC 2016 event for February 22nd, Monday, but the company did not give any hints of what it plans to launch. Sony just announced IMX318, a 22.5-megapixel 1/2.6 stacked CMOS Exmor RS image sensor with built-in high-speed hybrid autofocus for fast focus in just 0.03 seconds and built-in 3-axis electronic image stabilization technology for video. Sony launched the Xperia Z5 Premium Dual, its flagship smartphone in India for Rs. 62,990 back in October last year. We unboxed the smartphone recently, here we have the battery life test results from the smartphone. It packs a 3430mAh built-in battery, slightly bigger than the Xperia Z5 Dual’s 2900mAh battery, has Qualcomm Quick Charge 2.0 support and comes bundled with Quick Charger. Sony has launched its new compact NW-A25HN Walkman with Hi-Res digital noise canceling feature in India. It was introduced at the IFA last September. It has a 2.2-inch (320×240 pixels) QVGA TFT color LCD display and control buttons. It has Hi-Res audio and Sony’s proprietary DSEE technology to upscale compressed audio files to High-Resolution Audio and other features such as ClearAudio+, Clear Bass, Clear Phase, Dynamic Normalizer and 5 band Equalizer. The User Interface for the upcoming Android 6.0 Marshmallow update on Sony Xperia devices has been leaked by NTT Docomo, the Japanese telecom operator. The images reveal that the UI will look pretty similar to what we experienced on Android Lollipop itself.

Sony Xperia C6, successor of last year’s Xperia C5 Ultra has surfaced in a new render from @OnLeaks, who says that the render is based on raw factory schematics. The new leak shows the phone in Grey, White and Rose Gold colors. According to the image, the phone is expected to come with ultra narrow bezel. The Xperia C5 Ultra has a 6-inch 1080p display with just 0.8mm slim bezels, so the bezels on the C6 might be less than that.
