Sony announced h.ear on and h.ear in wired noise cancelling headphones at the IFA 2015 last year. Now at the CES 2016 Sony has introduced wireless variants. The new h.ear in is behind-the neck style in-ear Bluetooth wireless headphones and the h.ear on is headband-style Bluetooth wireless headphones with Digital Noise Cancelling. Sony launched the Xperia Z5 Premium Dual, its flagship smartphone with 4K display in India for Rs. 62,990 back in October.  We brought you the unboxing recently, here we have the benchmarks. It is powered by an Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 64-bit 20nm processor that has four bigger ARM Cortex A57 cores clocked at 1.96GHz per core and four smaller ARM Cortex A53 cores clocked at 1.56GHz per core with 630 MHz Adreno 430 GPU. It has 3GB of RAM, packs a 5.5-inch (3840×2160 pixels) display and runs on Android 5.1.1 (Lollipop). Check out the synthetic benchmark scores below. Sony tipped to be working on new batteries that lasts 40% longer

Sony is working on improving one of the major hurdles of smartphones – battery life. A new report from Nikkei states that the company plans to introduce a new high capacity battery in 2020 that should last 40 percent longer than lithium ion batteries that are currently available in the market.

Sony launched the Xperia Z5 Dual (E6683), its flagship smartphone in India for Rs. 52,990 back in October. We brought you the review of the smartphone earlier this week, here we have the battery life test results from the smartphone. It  packs a 2900mAh built-in battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 2.0 support. This is actually less than the 3100mAh battery on the Xperia Z3. It has a 5.2-inch 1080p display, is powered by an Octa-Core Snapdragon 810 processor and runs on Android 5.1 (Lollipop).

Sony Xperia Z5 Autofocus Speed Test – Fastest Shooter in town?

A photograph is as good as the subject in it. An out of focus photo is as good as a nonexistent one and this is a problem that still afflicts smartphone cameras. Anything apart from perfect lighting conditions or equally still subject apart, a majority of smartphones just can’t focus fast enough to capture the subject. So, color us surprised when we learnt that the Sony Xperia Z5 adopted Sony’s blazing Hybrid Autofocus system from it’s DSLR lineup and implemented it in a smartphone. With potentially class leading focus speeds, what better way than to see how much better the Z5 is against the competition than to pitch them head to head?
