Earlier this week Amazon India said that it would bring the Samsung Galaxy K zoom to India exclusively. Amazon India has just announced that the camera-centric smartphone would be available for pre-order on its website for Rs. 29,999 starting today midnight. It would launch in India exclusively on Amazon.in on July 9th, 2014 and the pre-orders will ship on the same date.

It has a 4.5-inch (720 x 1280 pixels) Super AMOLED display, powered by a 1.4 GHz quad-core processor and runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat) with new Touchwiz UI. It has a 8-megapixel rear camera with LED Flash, 1080p video recording and a 2.1-megapixel front-facing camera. It has IP67 ratings for dust and water resistance, similar to Galaxy S5. Reports about Samsung working on the Galaxy Mega successor had surfaced online few months back. Today, specifications about the phablet has been spotted on GFX Benchmark database. The device which has a model number SM-G7508 boasts of a 5.9 inch screen with 1280 x 720 resolution.

Samsung unveiled the Galaxy K zoom at an event in Singapore back in April. Samsung is planning to launch the smartphone in India soon and it would go on sale exclusively on Amazon.in. Amazon is also running a social contest that ends July 13th. Hope we can expect the India launch sometime in July. This was first spotted by BGR.in. Samsung unveiled the Galaxy Core, a mid-range Android smartphone in the Galaxy series last year and announced Galaxy Core Lite (SM-G3586V) with LTE support in China. Now the Galaxy Core Mini 4G (SM-G3568V) has appeared on official Samsung website in China. It has a similar 4.3-inch WVGA screen that was present in the Galaxy Core, but this is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor and runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat) . Samsung India has just sent out press invites for the launch of Galaxy Tab S series in India on July 1st. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 and the Galaxy Tab S 10.5 that were announced couple of weeks back comes with a 8.4-inch and 10.5-inch Super AMOLED displays at high WQXGA resolution, Android 4.4 (KitKat) and have Adaptive Display. The Samsung Gear Live was revealed for the first time by Google during the keynote at Google I/O 2014 and it is Samsung’s first Android Wear device. We managed to spend some time with the device at the event.Here is a short video of the Gear Live watch in action.Under the hood is a 1.2 Ghz processor paired with 512MB of RAM.

Samsung, though not part of the initial list of partners associated with Android Wear, surprised everyone by announcing the Gear Live yesterday, which has already gone on sale in the US today, and is no on pre-order in India, for a price of Rs. 15, 900. Following the design philosophy of its other Gear devices, this Android Wear based Smartwatch will be sold along with the LG G watch. Both the Korean giants have their own first Android Wear based Smartwatches out, but lets focus on the Gear live here, which adds the unique functionality to measure heart rate using the hear rate sensor on its back. It looks and feels pretty similar to the other Gear watches, unsurprisingly, so lets take a photo walkthrough of this device, straight from the I/O developer event in San Francisco.
