Rumors about the Samsung Galaxy A series smartphones surfaced recently. Sammobile has got hold of live images of Galaxy A5 (SM-A500F). Recent rumors said that the Galaxy SM-A500 would have metallic build, but according to Sammobile’s sources, the smartphone would not have a metal build, but it would use an unique material that ‘feels cold in the hand’. Samsung Galaxy Note 4 pre-orders to start in the US and UK on September 19

Samsung has announced that the Galaxy Note 4 will go for pre-order in the US and UK markets on September 19. The recently launched smartphone will go on the sale in the US on October 17th.

Samsung Galaxy Core 2 price drops to Rs. 8007 in India

Samsung has cut the price of the Galaxy Core 2 to Rs. 8,007 in India, soon after the launch of Android One smartphones. Prior to the price cut it was selling for Rs.11,900 on the official eStore, which is the launch price of the smartphone. Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime with 5MP front-facing camera surfaces

Live images of Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime (SM-G530H), the company’s selfie-focused smartphone has surfaced on a Vietnamese website Thegioididong. According to the leak, the mid-range smartphone would feature a 5-megapixel front-facing camera for capturing better selfies. It would also have an 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash. Samsung SM-A300 specs surfaces in benchmark

Samsung announced the Galaxy Alpha last month and the company also launched Galaxy Note 4 and Note Edge at IFA, Berlin. Reports had suggested that the company is working on A series of smartphones that will include three devices viz’ the SM-A300, SM-A500 and SM-A700.

Earlier this month, specs of the SM-A500 had leaked and now few details about the SM-A300 have surfaced in GFX benchmarks and was first spotted by SamMobile. As per the benchmark, the device sports  a 4.8 inch 960×540 display and runs on Android 4.4.4 KitKat out of the box. It will be powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm processor and Adreno 306 GPU (graphics processing unit). The handset will include 1 GB of RAM and 5 GB of internal storage. Other specs include a 7-megapixel rear camera that will support recording 1080p Full HD video and 5-megapixel front-facing camera.

The report further states that Samsung will likely launch the SM-A300 in third quarter of 2014.All the aforementioned three devices will be sharing the similar design language and metal build of the Galaxy Alpha. There is no word on pricing and availability of the phone from Samsung.

Samsung SM-A500 might boast of metal body, 5 inch screen and more

Samsung SM-A500 had first leaked last month when reports suggested that the company is working on A series of smartphones that will include three devices viz’ the SM-A300, SM-A500 and SM-A700. These smartphones will feature same design as the recently announced Galaxy Alpha.

Today, SamMobile is touting that Samsung will launch the SM-A500 that will boast of full metal body with removable back cover. Moving on the report states that the phone will have 5 inch (1280×720) Super AMOLED display  and a quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor. Other specs include 8-megapixel and 5-megapixel rear and front-facing cameras, 16GB of internal storage and support for microSD card slot. Finally, it will have a 2,330mAh non removable battery.

The SM-A500 will not be dust and water resistant. From the aforementioned specifications it looks like the SM-A500 will be a mid range phone that has a premium look and feel owing to full metal body.
