Samsung has reported its earnings for Q4 2016, in which the company has made operating profit of 9.22 trillion won ($7.9 billion), up 50.2% YoY for the quarter that ended December 31, 2016. It reported revenues of 53.33 trillion won, almost same as Q4 2015 and net profit of 7.09 trillion won (US$ 6.1 billion), compared with 3.22 trillion won a year earlier. Samsung has announced Galaxy C7 Pro (SM-C7010), successor of the Galaxy C7 in the Galaxy ‘C Series’ in China. It has a 5.7-inch 1080p Super AMOLED display, runs on Android 6.0.1 (Marshmallow) with Samsung’s own UI on top, has a 16-megapixel rear camera with f/1.9 aperture, dual-tone LED flash and a fingerprint sensor on the home button on the front, similar to the C7, but this is powered by a slightly faster Octa-Core Snapdragon 626 14nm SoC and has a 16-megapixel front-facing camera.

According to a latest report, Samsung has finalized the design for Galaxy S7 and a prototype of the upcoming flagship has been shared with company executives.
