A latest report from SamMobile suggests, Samsung Galaxy S8’s AI powered smart virtual assistant will be integrated into all the native apps. Dubbed as Bixby, the smart digital assistant will come pre-installed on the phone and it will be more intuitive and advanced than S Voice.

Bixby is a product of Viv Labs that was acquired by Samsung in October this year. The smart voice assistant will play a role similar to Google Assistant, Apple’s Siri, Amazon’s Alexa and Microsoft’s Cortana. It is also said to have contextual awareness that helps in answering questions or suggesting actions without specifying exactly. As per the report, S Voice will be replaced by Bixby on Galaxy S8. Samsung will also update its native apps with a new UI in order to incorporate Bixby more naturally.

Major tech companies like including Amazon, Facebook and Microsoft are betting on AI.
