After posting the first press render of the Galaxy Note8 in Midnight Black version of the upcoming Galaxy Note8 smartphone, @evleaks has posted a new image that shows the dual rear cameras on the back along with a fingerprint sensor. Samsung is all set to unveil its flagship Galaxy Note8 smartphone at Galaxy Unpacked event on August 23. We had seen several render sketches of the phone, now we have the first press render of the phone, thanks to @evleaks. It shows a similar design as the Galaxy S8 with Infinity display with minimal bezels. All the important sensors including the iris scanner is seen on the top. We had seen the Samsung Galaxy S8 Active in live images and a press image last week. Now more press shots of the phone has surfaced, thanks to Android Police who has got hold of the Samsung employee training manual for the phone that coincides with earlier leak confirming Bixby Button. It also has MIL-STD-810G endurance rating.

Samsung today announced that it developed LTE modem technology f its next-generation mobile processors that supports 6CA (carrier aggregation) for the first time in the industry. This Cat.18 6CA-supported LTE modem technology will offer a maximum download speed of 1.2 gigabits per second (Gbps), compared to Cat.16 LTE modem with 1 gigabit (Gb) downlink speed in the Samsung Exynos 9 Series (8895) processor that powers the Samsung Galaxy S8 series of phones. Samsung unveiled its W2017 premium flip phone with dual displays last year. Now details about the upcoming W2018 (SM-W2018) flip phone has surfaced. The W2017 was powered by Snapdragon 820, had 4GB RAM and 64GB storage, the W2018 is said to be powered by Snapdragon 835, come with 6GB RAM and the internal storage is said to be 64GB, same as the predecessor. Samsung has reported its earnings for Q2 2017, in which the company has made operating profit of 14.07 trillion won ($12.7 billion), up 72.85% YoY for the quarter that ended June 30, 2017. This is all-time high quarterly profit, due to strong System LSI sales through increased sales of AP and CIS products while the Display Panel Business expanded sales of flexible OLED panels for premium smartphones and high-value LCDs under stable prices. Samsung has launched Galaxy J7 Nxt (SM-J701F), the company’s latest smartphone in the J7 series in India. It has a 5.5-inch HD Super AMOLED display, is powered by an Octa-Core Exynos 7870 processor and runs on Android 7.0 (Nougat). It has a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front camera that also has LED flash.

After Bluetooth and Wi-Fi certification, Samsung Galaxy C7 2017 (SM-C7100) has been certified by TENAA in China. This reveals slightly larger 5.5-inch 1080p Super AMOLED display, compared to the predecessor. It also shows unibody design with antenna bands on the back. There are also 13-megapixel and a 5-megapixel dual rear cameras on the back and a 16-megapixel camera on the front with LED flash.
After rumors, Samsung has finally sent out invites for the Galaxy Unpacked event on August 23 where it is expected to unveil the flagship Galaxy Note8 smartphone. After several delays, Samsung has finally launched the Bixby Voice assistant in U.S. English for Galaxy S8 and S8+ users in the United States and Korea. The Samsung Galaxy S8 series phones come with dedicated Bixby hardware button that lets you access Bixby Voice by pressing and holding it. Samsung started mass production of industry’s first 4-gigabyte (GB) DRAM package based on the second-generation High Bandwidth Memory (HBM2) interface back in January last year. Later it unveiled 8-gigabyte (GB) DRAM which has double the capacity of 4GB HBM2. Today it has announced that it is ramping up production of 8GB HBM2 to meet the growing market across artificial intelligence, HPC (high-performance computing), advanced graphics, network systems and enterprise servers.
