Samsung has announced Galaxy Xcover 4, it latest rugged smartphone and the successor of Galaxy Xcover 3 that was introduced back in 2015. It is water resistant to a depth of 1.5m for up to 30 minutes with IP68 certification, dust proof, come with US Military Standard MIL-STD 810G to withstand a fall of up to 1.2 meters and feature hardware buttons. Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro gets a price cut in India, will be available from March 3 for Rs. 29900
Samsung launched Galaxy A9 Pro (SM-A9100), in the ‘Galaxy A’ series in India back in September last year at a price tag of Rs. 32,490. Today at an event in Mumbai the company has announced a Rs. 2590 price cut for the smartphone. The smartphone will be available from Flipkart at Rs. 29,900 starting from March 3rd, Friday. Samsung Galaxy S8 press image shows curved display with narrow bezels and Iris scanner
Samsung recently confirmed its Galaxy Unpacked 2017 event on March 29th in New York where it is expected to unveil flagship Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ smartphones. Thanks to @evleaks, the first press render of the smartphone is out showing its curved screen with narrow bezels and an iris scanner at the top, similar to the Galaxy Note7 that would let you unlock the phone using eye recognition. Samsung at its joint event with Jio at the MWC 2017 in Barcelona today announced I&G (Infill & Growth) Project for Reliance Jio Infocomm Ltd in India. This is aimed at upgrading current LTE mobile communication services across India by expanding both the current network capacity as well as network coverage.

Samsung has announced its first Gear VR headset with controller powered by Oculus at its Mobile World Congress press conference in Barcelona. It’s safe to assume that the new virtual reality product will not only make it easier to consume VR content but will also expand the ecosystem.

Samsung, Arqiva to conduct 5G trials in UK this year
Samsung has announced that it is joining hands with Arqiva, communications infrastructure and media services provider to conduct the United Kingdom’s first 5G trials with a focus on Fixed Wireless Access. The trial is set to take place in the second half of 2017 in London and will involve the deployment of an end-to-end 5G FWA solution network in the city centre, operating in the 28 GHz band.
