Samsung today launched Galaxy J7 Pro and Galaxy J7 Max, two new mid-range smartphones in the ‘Galaxy J7’ 2017 series in India. The Galaxy J7 Pro is the same Galaxy J7 (2017) smartphone that was introduced last week packing a 5.5-inch 1080p Super AMOLED display, while the larger Galaxy J7 Max comes with a 5.7-inch 1080p display. These have Samsung Pay (Samsung Pay Mini on J7 Max for UPI and Mobile Wallet Payments), making them the first mid-range smartphones to support Samsung Pay. Samsung has introduced new CHG90 and CHG70 curved gaming monitors with High Dynamic Range (HDR) technology for realistic, detailed picture, ahead of E3 2017. The C49HG90 49-inch ultra-wide monitor has a 32:9 aspect ratio and 3,840×1,080 double full HD (DFHD) resolution. These monitor delivers offer 1,800R curvature, an ultra-wide 178-degree viewing angle and accelerated refresh rate (144Hz) and 1ms motion picture response time (MPRT) with advanced, four-channel scanning technology to deter motion blur and produce a more consistent picture across the entire screen.

Samsung invests Rs.4915 crore to double production in India

Samsung has announced an investment of INR 4,915 crore in India which will be used to add fresh capacity at Samsung’s Noida plant, where the company manufactures smartphones, refrigerators and flat panel televisions. Samsung has introduced Galaxy J5 (2017) and Galaxy J7 (2017) smartphones in Europe along with the recently announced Galaxy J3 (2017). Both the new J5 and J7 smartphones have 13-megapixel front and rear cameras, 4G LTE support with VoLTE, run Android 7.0 (Nougat) and also come with a fingerprint sensor embedded into the home button. These are 7.9mm thick and have unibody metal design with new antenna design.

Samsung launched the Galaxy C7 Pro (SM-C7010) in India last month for Rs. 27990. We recently brought you the review of the smartphone, here we have the battery life test results of the phone. It packs a 3300mAh battery with support for adaptive fast charging using the bundled charger (5V-2A/9V-1.67A). It has a 5.7-inch 1080p Super AMOLED display, is powered by an Snapdragon 626 14nm SoC and runs on Android 6.0.1 (Marshmallow). Check out the test results below.
