Samsung just launched the Gear Fit2 Pro fitness tracker with a new watch-style clasp and the Gear Sport smartwatch in India. Both these were introduced at the IFA 2017. The Gear Fit2 Pro has a 1.5-inch Curved Super AMOLED screen and built-in GPS and runs Tizen OS, similar to the predecessor The Gear Sport has a 1.2-inch Circular Super AMOLED Always On display and comes with GPS, Heart rate sensor and NFC for Samsung Pay. It has easily changeable standard 20mm straps.

Samsung starts mass production of SoCs based on second generation 10nm FinFET process technology

Samsung announced back in April that its second generation 10-nanometer (nm) FinFET process technology, 10LPP (Low Power Plus), has been qualified and is ready for production. Today the Korean giant has announced that its Foundry Business has started mass production of these SoCs based on second-gen 10nm process tech, 10LPP .

Now the Galaxy J5 Prime 2017 (SM-G571F) has been certified by the FCC in the U.S. This reveals the model number of the smartphone that had already surfaced in GFXBench benchmark, but it doesn’t reveal any specifications.

Now @evleaks aka Evan Blass at VentureBeat is reporting that the Galaxy S9 series will be an iterative update in “tock” cycle, since the Galaxy S8 was a major upgrade as a part of “tick” cycle.
