After rumors, Samsung has officially introduced the Galaxy XCover Pro, the company’s latest rugged smartphone in the XCover series. It packs a 6.3-inch FHD+ Infinity Display with an enhanced touchscreen able to work in any condition, including rain or snow. Glove mode allows for gloves-on use and the new voice to text message feature provides real-time dictation and messaging for simple, convenient communication. Powered by Exynos 9611, it has 4GB RAM and runs Android 10 with One UI 2.0. Samsung said to have named Galaxy Fold successor as “Galaxy Bloom” in a secret CES 2020 meeting

In a secret meeting at CES 2020, Samsung has reportedly named the upcoming successor to the Galaxy Fold as the ‘Galaxy Bloom’. In a report by the website ajunews.com, the Galaxy Bloom will apparently have a design that is inspired by the powder compact of the luxury cosmetics brand Lancome.

Looks like Samsung is gearing up to introduce a new rugged smartphone as the images and Samsung Galaxy XCover Pro (SM-G715F) have surfaced. As usual this should be water resistant to a depth of 1.5m for up to 30 minutes with IP68 certification, dust proof, come with US Military Standard MIL-STD 810G to withstand a fall of up to 1.2 meters and features “Push To Talk” button with support for quick messages. After teaser, Samsung has officially announced its flagship Q950TS QLED 8K TV which features  Infinity Screen that eliminates the bezel around the display to create a screen-to-body ratio of nearly 99%, and the first to feature 5.1 channel surround-sound in a 15mm ultra-thin form factor that is completely flat black panel. Powered by Tizen, it takes voice commands and lets you access new features like Tap View, Digital Butler and Samsung Health. It features enhanced AI (Artificial Intelligence) technology to improve audio, video and smart capabilities.

Samsung shipped over 6.7 million 5G smartphones globally in 2019, Galaxy Tab S6 5G coming in Q1 2020

Samsung has announced that it has shipped over it shipped more than 6.7 million Galaxy 5G smartphones globally that includes Galaxy S10 5G, Note10 5G, Note10+ 5G, Galaxy A90 5G and Galaxy Fold 5G. It added that as of November 2019, Samsung accounted for 53.9% of the global 5G smartphone market globally. Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 5G, which will be available in Korea in the first quarter of 2020, will be the world’s first 5G tablet. Samsung TVs to receive 8K certification from the 8K Association

Samsung Electronics has partnered with the 8K Association (8KA) to create and receive its certification from a new program that aims to distinguish 8K-enabled televisions and other devices. Samsung 8K TV’s will one of the first in the industry to meet this standard which involves various criteria like resolution, brightness and contrast, ports, etc.
