Panasonic has announced the Lumix S1 and S1R full-frame mirrorless cameras with a 35mm full-frame CMOS sensor. These come with HDR still photo mode, that can be played back on HLG-compliant televisions. The cameras can shoot video at 4K, 60fps with dual image stabilization, tiltable LCD display, contrast AD and depth-from-defocus tech. Panasonic today launched P85 NXT, the company’s latest smartphone in the ‘P Series’, a year after the launch of P85. It has the same 5-inch HD display, 4000mAh battery and comes with 4G VoLTE support, but this runs on Android 7.1.2 (Nougat). Panasonic has announced Toughbook FZ-T1, the company’s latest rugged handheld targeted at enterprise customers including retail and hospitality, manufacturing, transportation and logistics. It hasintegrated barcode scanner with two trigger buttons, either side of the device, and will also get a separate long and short range barcode scanning accessory for inventory management such as scanning from forklifts, shelf stocking, assisted sales or order taking and queue busting.
