Nokia has launched Nokia Asha 300, Touch and Type phone in India. It was announced at Nokia World 2011 in October. runs on S40 OS and is powered by 1 Ghz processor  and has 3G capability. It is one of the phone to come with Angry birds pre-installed. It has 2.4-inch resistive touch display and is 12.7mm thick and weighs 85g. It has 5MP camera with video recording at 25 fps and has 32GB expandable memory. It also comes with Nokia Music Unlimited, DRM free Music service with 3 months free subscription. Nokia Asha 200 Dual SIM QWERTY phone launched in India for Rs. 4759


Nokia has launched Nokia Asha 200, Dual SIM QWERTY phone in India. It was announced in Nokia World 2011 in October. It comes with Easy Swap (possible to change the SIM card without turning off the device) option and has expandable memory upto 32GB. It also comes with Nokia Music Unlimited, DRM free Music service with 3 months free subscription. Nokia unveils Nokia Music Unlimited DRM free Music service in India


Nokia has launched Nokia Music Unlimited Service with DRM free Music for their newly launched phones, Nokia X2-02, Nokia Asha 200 and Nokia Asha 300. It would offer users to download and share music from the Nokia Music Store that are DRM-free, pre-activated (on the device) and also offers easy browsing and renewal. Nokia X2-02 Dual SIM Music Phone launched in India

Nokia has launched Nokia X2-02, Dual SIM music phone with dual standby and easy swap functionality in India. This is the successor of the Nokia X1-01 that was launched earlier this year. It comes with Wireless FM Radio with recording, MP3 player, dedicated music keys, an in-built loudspeaker for music playback with 106 phon strength, Nokia browser, 3.5mm audio jack and 32GB expandable memory card slot. Galaxy Nexus volume bug fix rolling out via OTA update


The Samsung Galaxy Neus volume bug is getting fixed through an Over the Air (OTA) firmware update that is rolling out in UK. Some of the Galaxy Nexus owners have been facing volume bug that mutes their device automatically and then becomes unresponsive while keeping their phone in 2G mode. Google has already said that they are working on an update to fix this issue. Clove UK has confirmed through their UK distributors that the update had already been completed on the new stocks and would be available very soon for new and existing customers. Samsung announces Exynos 5250 with 2GHz Cortex-A15 dual-core processor

Samsung Electronics has announced their next-generation Cortex-A15 processor equipped with 2.0GHz, high-performance dual-core Exynos 5250 SoC (System on Chip) that would use less power while offering 2x better performance than existing CPUs. It is created using a 32nm-low power HKMG process and could process 2 instructions per second to 14 billion (14,000 DMIPS) while the existing 1.5GHz dual-core Cortex-A9-based products process 2 instructions per second to 7.5 billion (7,500 DMIPS ).This was already rumored back in April this year. Google Maps for Android v6.0 update brings indoor Maps

Google Maps for Android has been updated to version 6.0 that brings indoor Maps that lets you determine where you are, what floor you’re on, and where to go indoors and more. It also includes detailed floor plans that automatically appear when you’re viewing the map and zoomed-in on a building where indoor map data is available. It also has a new drop-down menu for the top toolbar for easy switching between common features and updated home screen for places. Nokia World 2011 – a late recap

It was this time of the year again, where the heart of every Nokia Fan beats a little bit faster. Nokia Enthusiasts, bloggers, journalists and many more took the trip to London, to join Nokia and see what they have been up to. Same as last year, Nokia World has again been held at the Excel Center in London. I was lucky enough to get an invitation from the awesome people at Nokia Connects and Stephanie from Nokia Austria, and that itself made sure for a fun ride! This years showcase of everything Nokia promised to be a big one, with Windows Phone finally arriving in the form of something we can get our hands on, and since I’m a firm believer in the partnership between Microsoft and Nokia, I can’t say I wasn’t excited to finally get over there and see what the Finns are up to. Keep in mind, this will not be an in-depth analysis of what happened at the keynote, nor will i deep dive into the handsets (that will come later on), what you’re about to read were my personal experiences, and how it felt to be part of the event. RIM announces BlackBerry Mobile Fusion – Device Management solution for BlackBerry, iOS and Android

LG Optimus Link Dual SIM Android Phone now shipping in Russia

LG announced the LG Optimus Pro and Optimus Net this July. They have also announced that the LG Optimus Net would come with Dual SIM and NFC support (based on the carriers) in 30 European Markets by Summer. Now LG has announced on their LG Russia’s Facebook page that the LG Optimus Link which is the European version of the LG Optimus Net with Dual SIM has started shipping in Russia. LG Nitro HD with 720p HD Display and 4G LTE gets Priced at $249.99 for AT&T USA

LG announced the Optimus LTE in Korea last month  which boasts of a 720p HD IPS Display and at that point LG did not plan to release the device in other markets. Looks like that has changed as LG launched the Optimus LTE in Canada earlier this month and now AT&T has announced that it is going to launch the the LG Nitro HD which seems like the carrier’s variant of the Optimus LTE. The device packs a True HD AH-IPS (High Definition Advanced High Performance In-Plane Switching) 4.5 inch display with  329 pixels per inch. More details about the display technology here . LG confirms Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update for Optimus 2X, Optimus Black and Optimus 3D


The LG Optimus 2X, Optimus BlackOptimus 3D and the Optimus LTE would be the first LG devices that would get the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update confirms LG on their Facebook page. LG has just started rolling out Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) update for their Optimus 3D that brings lots of new camera features and for the Optimus 2x. They already confirmed the Gingerbread update for these devices last month for Europe on their Facebook page.
