Nokia 808 PureView India Price Revealed


Nokia 808 PureView price for India has been revealed as Rs. 29,999. Nokia announced the Nokia 808 PureView at MWC 2012 and announced earlier this month that the phone would go on sale in India and Russia starting this month. The price has not been announced officially but the price of the phone is hidden in the Page Source in Nokia 808 page in the Nokia Online Store. LG LS970 Superphone with Snapdragon S4 processor and 13MP camera rumored

Rumors have surfaced of an LG superphone named the “Eclipse 4G LTE” with a spec sheet that sounds like every nerds wet dream. Powered by a 1.5Ghz quad core Snapdragon S4 processor , the phone will be paired with an Adreno 320 GPU. 2GB of RAM will be included in the handset.

Samsung Omnia M Windows Phone with 4-inch AMOLED display and 1 GHz Processor announced

 

Samsung has announced the Omnia M, their latest handset to feature Windows Phone 7.5 (Mango). The phone has 4.0-inch Super AMOLED display, 1 GHz processor and 5 MP Auto focus camera with LED Flash and a VGA video calling camera. This has larger display than the Omnia W that was launched last year but it doesn’t have impressive specs. Samsung Galaxy S3 Hands On Video

We managed to get our hands on the Samsung Galaxy S3 again at CTIA after the London event from where you saw the Photo Gallery and our live blog.The Galaxy S3 is actually a feature packed handset and does impress when held in the hand. Only let down is the plasticky finish but even then I seemed to like the white version over the blue version. It is pretty fast and comes out on the top in the benchmarks we tested on it.

Samsung has started rolling Premium Suite upgrade for GALAXY Note users as they promised earlier this March. This brings Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) and some extra multimedia features and a range of new S Pen optimized applications such as S Note and S Memo. Sony Xperia Sola up for pre-order in India for Rs. 19,999


Sony Xperia Sola is now available for pre-order in India from online retailer Flipkart. It was announced this March and packs in 1GHz Dual Core Processor, 3.7-inch (854 x 480 pixels) Reality Display with Mobile BRAVIA Engine and has 5MP autofocus camera with flash and 720p HD video recording. Samsung Galaxy S3 Benchmarks

I’m currently attending CTIA in New Orleans in USA and guess what I found at a Mobile Focus show last nite here – the Samsung Galaxy S3 which was just shown off in London last week is now being show off here. I held the S3 for the first time in the hand and it felt nice except for the plasticky outer shell. The display was gorgeous and the phone was screaming fast. Nokia brings Nokia Store operator billing to Vodafone and Airtel


Nokia has announced that have partnered with Vodafone India and Airtel to offer integrated billing solutions on the Nokia Store in India. They partnered with Reliance to introduce operator billing on Nokia Store last year. This would let users download local and global paid content from the Nokia Store and pay for their downloads as part of their monthly mobile phone bills or have the amount deducted from the pre-paid balance. Sony Xperia GX and Xperia SX LTE smartphones announced in Japan

Sony Mobile has announced 2 new LTE-enabled smartphones, Xperia GX and Xperia SX for the Japanese markets. They unveiled Xperia NX and arco HD for Japan earlier this year. The Xperia GX comes with 4.6-inch Reality display and the Xperia SX has a 3.7-inch Reality display. RIM announces new COO and CMO

BlackBerry maker RIM (Research in Motion) has announced its new Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Chief Marketing Officer (CMO). Kristian Tear is the new COO and Frank Boulben is the new CMO. Tear served as Executive Vice President of Sony Mobile Communications previously and has held operational leadership positions with Ericsson in Europe, Asia and Latin America. Boulben is the former Executive Vice President of Strategy, Marketing and Sales for LightSquared. He previously severed as Global Director of Commercial Strategy for Vodafone Group and Executive Vice President of Brand and Consumer Marketing for Orange Group. RIM announces BlackBerry Curve 9320

RIM  (Research in Motion) has announced BlackBerry Curve 9320 with 3G connectivity. They launched the BlackBerry Curve 9220, an affordable smartphone with 2G connectivity in India last month. It has similar design as the 9220 and has 2.44-inch (320×240 pixels) TFT display with a QWERTY keyboard and a dedicated BBM button. Other than the 3G support this has 3.2MP camera with Flash and runs on BlackBerry OS 7.1. Viber for BlackBerry and Windows Phone Beta now available, Voice calling coming soon

Viber launched VOIP (Voice Over IP) app for iPhone back in 2010 and for Android last year that we reviewed. Now they have launched Beta apps for BlackBerry and Windows Phone platforms.
