MTV India and Swipe Telecom has partnered once again to launch the Slash, a 7-inch device in Swipe’s Fablet series. It went on sale yesterday from online retailer Snapdeal. It has a 7-inch (1024 x 600 pixels) capacitive touch screen display, powered by a 1 GHz dual-core processor and runs on Android 4.1.2 (Jelly Bean). It has a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED Flash and a 0.3-megapixel (VGA) front-facing camera. It comes with dual SIM support with dual standby and comes with 3G support. Motorola Droid mini press image surfaces, Droid Ultra rumored to launch on August 8th

We had already seen the leaked press render for the Motorola Droid Ultra (XT1080) and the Droid Maxx (XT1080M). Now the popular twitter user evleaks has leaked the image of the Droid mini (XT1030) posing along with the Droid Ultra and the Droid Maxx, as a family. The Droid Ultra and the Droid Maxx are rumored to feature a 5-inch display, so the Droid mini is likely to feature a smaller display. The display would have gorilla glass protection and the phone would have kevlar body. All these have capacitive touch buttons. Videocon A55HD Benchmarks

Videocon launched the A55HD with 5-inch HD display few weeks back at a price tag of Rs. 13499. We brought you the unboxing earlier this week, here we have the benchmarks of the device. It is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core MediaTek 6589 processor with PowerVR SGX544 GPU. It comes with a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD display at 295 PPI with one-glass solution (OGS) technology and runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean).

Nokia Lumia 1020: What we know till now

The long wait is finally coming to an end, with today’s launch of the much expected and awaited camera flagship from Nokia. Ever since the Nokia 808 launched in February 2012, the device has been unanimously praised as the world’s best camera on a phone, and it has stayed true even now. Efforts to dethrone the 808 have been unsuccessful till now, even with Nokia’s other PureView’s cameras, but that was not really their notion anyway. The Nokia 808 PureView phase I, it was called, once the Nokia Lumia 920 released with other capabilities, which was denoted as PureView phase II. Reported claims of specifications, images, hardware shots, accessories have all leaked out to the internet way before the device has even officially launched. So, what do we know about it till now? FIFA 13 now available on Windows Phone 8, exclusive to Nokia Lumia devices

The popular soccer video game, FIFA 13, is finally available on Windows Phone 8 devices. However there’s a catch as the game is exclusive to Nokia Lumia devices only. Gameloft & EA game is now available on the WP8 as well and has been priced at $4.99.

The game has 30 different leagues, 500 licensed teams. A fair bit of customization options are also provided including the ability to chose your kit and change the line up. As is expected from a FIFA game, it is possible to tweak the scenarios just as you want them. The game has 15000 players as well as 32 stadiums to chose from. You get a tournament mode as well as practice modes, penalty shoot out mode. The game comes with achievements and works with Xbox Live. The download size is a rather massive 951MB. Nokia Lumia 1020 complete specs surface, 6 element lens, 2GB RAM and more

Nokia is expected to unveil the Lumia 1020 at an event in New York in less than 12 hours. Press image of the phone surfaced earlier this week that shows off more colors and details about the 41-megapixel camera. Now a source of Unleashthephones have revealed complete specifications of the device and WP Central says they can confirm the specs with their sources. The phone would come with a 4.5-inch display similar to the Lumia 925, but it would also have a 6 element smartphone lens and HAAC mics for rich recording similar to the device. The display would have 2.5D sculpted glass with gorilla glass protection and High Brightness Mode, Sunlight readability, Super sensitive touch for nail and glove usage. The phone would be powered by a 1.5 GHz dual-core Snapdragon processor, but we don’t have the exact model of the chip yet. LG unveils world’s slimmest 5.2-inch 1080p smartphone display

LG Display, the display arm of LG Electronics has unveiled the world’s slimmest Full HD LCD panel for smartphones. The LCD panel is of size 5.2-inch diagonally, aimed at premium mobile devices. LG says it would offer better grip-ability and a superior viewing experience. The display is just 2.2mm thin with a 2.3mm bezel. The LG Optimus G2 that is expected to be unveiled next month would have a 5.2-inch full HD display. So the phone is likely to feature this display. The Elife E6 packs a 5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) display based on one-glass solution (OGS+) technology, powered by a 1.5 GHz quad-core Mediatek MT6589T processor and runs on Amigo ROM Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean). It packs a 13-megapixel rear camera with f2.2 wide angle lens, BSI sensor, LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with f2.4 wide angle lens. The phone is 7.9mm thick and has just 2.54mm thin bezel around the display. It weighs just 128 grams. LG Optimus L4 II Dual now available in India for Rs. 8990

The LG Optimus L4 II Dual (E445) that got priced on the official LG India website last month is now available in India from online retailers Flipkart and Infibeam. The L4 II dual was announced back in May along with the Optimus L4 II. It has a 3.8-inch (320 x 480 pixels) capacitive touch screen IPS display, powered by a 1 GHz MediaTek MT6575 and runs on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean). HTC Butterfly S Benchmarks

HTC unveiled the Butterfly S, successor of the Butterfly in Taiwan last month. We brought you the photo gallery of the device earlier today. Now we have the benchmarks of the device. The phone has a 5.0-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD Super LCD 3 display display and is powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 8064T processor clocked at 1.9 GHz with Adreno 320 GPU coupled with 2 GB RAM. It runs on Android 4.2.2 (Jelly Bean) with HTC Sense 5.0. Let’s check out the performance of the smartphone when compared with other high-end Android devices.
