LG to roll out Android 5.0 Lollipop update for the G Pads series starting this March

The new Mi TV 2 has a 40-inch (1920 x 1080) Full HD display from Sharp with 176-degree viewing angle. It is powered by a 1.45GHz quad-core MStar 6A908 Cortex-A9 processor, has 1.5GB RAM and supports a range of apps from the Mi Store. Honor, the global brand under Huawei has launched the Honor 4X smartphone in India. It was announced back in October last year, packs a 5.5-inch HD display, is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 410 processor with Adreno 306 GPU and runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat) with Emotion UI 3.0 on top. It has a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. It has dual SIM support and 4G LTE connectivity on both the SIM cards, including support for 4G LTE bands (TDD B40 2300MHz and FDD B3 1800MHz) for India. Amazon planning to offer paid apps for free via “Unlocked” program

With an aim to bolster its Appstore installs, Amazon is said to be launching a new “Unlocked” program, as per Tech Crunch.  This service will offer paid apps and games absolutely free.

The report describes Unlocked as “Amazon Prime for apps,” and it would offer paid apps for free, and even unlock all in-app purchases for “free-to-play” games. Intel Real Sense for tablets: a first look

Starting out with laptops, the depth-sensing “Real Sense” technology from Intel has had slow adoption, mainly due to the fact that innovation was mostly around mobile. At this year’s MWC, we had seen how Intel is finally Moving Mobile, and as a part of this effort, Real Sense is now available in smaller devices, like the Dell Venue 8 7000 series tablet.
