LG G3 Android 5.0 Lollipop update to roll out starting this week

LG just announced that it would start rolling out Android 5.0 Lollipop update for its flagship LG G3 smartphone this week starting from Poland. This would be followed by other key markets in future, said the Korean giant. Roll out details will be announced when it becomes available in local markets.  Upgrade schedule for other LG devices will be announced soon.

The Android 5.0 Lollipop brings Material Design with bold, colorful, and responsive UI design, better notifications, battery saver feature, better security including Android Smart Lock,  New Quick Settings, Improved network handoffs, flexible sharing, faster, smoother and more powerful experience with ART, 15 new languages and more.

Regarding the Android 5.0 upgrade for the LG G3 , Dr. Jong-seok Park, President and CEO of the LG Electronics Mobile Communications Company, said,

LG is absolutely committed to giving our customers the best mobile experiences available and bringing Android Lollipop to G3 owners as soon as possible is a top priority. The new features and improvements in Android 5.0 will bring a whole new user experience to the G3 and make it even better than it already is.
