Oppo has announced Oppo R7 and Oppo R7 Plus, two new smartphones in the R series. The Oppo R7 has a 5-inch (1080 x 1920 pixels) Full HD AMOLED display and runs on Color OS 2.1 based on Android 4.4 (KitKat), while the Oppo R7 Plus features a 6-inch (1080 x 1920 pixels) Full HD AMOLED display and runs on Color OS 2.1 based on Android 5.1 (Lollipop). Both these smartphones are powered by an Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor with Adreno 405 GPU for the international variant. These have metal body and 2.5D Arc Edge screen. Oppo is all set to announce the Oppo R7 smartphone on May 20th. Today the company has announced that the smartphone will feature a 13-megapixel rear camera with ISOCELL CMOS sensor. It will also come with new Flash Shot technology that will offer better speed, accuracy and stability for its camear. Flash shot will enable speedy initiation, fast focus and stable imaging to quickly capture images.

It seems like bezel-less is the trend nowadays because after the Nubia Z9 and the Oppo R7, we now have yet another handset with such a design. The Oppo R7 Plus is the bigger brother of the R7 and it sports a fingerprint sensor as well apart from the similar bezel-less design.

Oppo has launched Oppo Joy Plus, the company’s latest budget Android smartphone and the successor of last year’s Oppo Joy in India. It has a 4-inch (800 x 480 pixels) WVGA IPS ultra-sensitive touch screen with glove mode, is powered by a 1.3 GHz dual core processor and runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat) with Color OS 2.0. It has a 3-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 0.3-megapixel (VGA) front-facing camera. It has 3G connectivity and dual SIM support.
