OnePlus has released new Oreo-based open betas (Beta 19 for OnePlus 3T and Beta 28 for OnePlus 3) that brings several new features including support for aptX/aptX HD, better shortcut menu, photo map in Gallery to view photos by location, emergency information (ICE) in Contacts to add your personal information and more along with several optimizations and bug fixes.

This comes after the Lava Red OnePlus 5T that was introduced in China earlier this week. The OnePlus 5T was launched in India and other countries only in Midnight Black color. OnePlus introduced its flagship OnePlus 5T smartphone in Midnight Black variant. Today at its launch event in China the company has introduced a new Lava Red commemorative edition of the smartphone.This has black bezel on the front and comes with bright red finish on the back and the sides of the phone.

OnePlus launched its flagship OnePlus 5T smartphone earlier this month, which went on early sale in India on November 21st. Today the smartphone went on open sale in the country on Amazon.inoneplusstore.in, select Croma stores and OnePlus Experience zones in Bangalore and Noida at a price of Rs. 32,999 for the 6GB RAM with 64GB storage and Rs. 37,999 for the 8GB RAM with 128GB version.

OnePlus 5 gets Android 8.0 Oreo update in Open Beta

OnePlus has released its first OxygenOS Open Beta 1 that brings Android 8.0 (Oreo) for the phone, as it had promised at the OnePlus 5T launch earlier this month. It brings all the Android Oreo features such as background limits that puts a big priority on improving user’s battery life, snoozing that lets users to snooze notifications to reappear at a later time and wide-gamut color for apps among many other things.

OnePlus 5T OxygenOS 4.7.2 update brings fingerprint, face unlock optimizations, update for camera improvements soon

OnePlus 5T went on sale earlier this week running OxygenOS 4.7.1. The company has rolled out a new OxygenOS 4.7.2 update that brings optimization for fingerprint and face unlock also improves screen off gestures and EIS during 4K video recording. OnePlus 5T Benchmarks – Snapdragon 835 and 8GB RAM

OnePlus launched its flagship OnePlus 5T  smartphone in India. We already brought you the unboxing of the phone, here we have the benchmarks of the smartphone. The OnePlus 5T is powered by an Octa-Core Snapdragon 835 10nm Mobile Platform with that has four custom Kryo 280 Performance cores clocked at 2.46GHz per core and four smaller Efficiency Kryo 280 cores are clocked at 1.90GHz per core and has 710 MHz Adreno 540 GPU,  8GB LPDDR4x RAM, same as OnePlus 5, but this has a larger 6.01-inch 18:9 Full HD+ Optic AMOLED display and runs on Android 7.1.1 (Nougat) with Oxygen OS 4.7. OnePlus released Android 8.0 (Oreo) Open Beta for OnePlus 3 and 3T last month and said that it will release the update for its OnePlus 5 users soon. Yesterday at the OnePlus 5T launch event Brian Yoon, Head of user experience design division at OnePlus confirmed that the OnePlus 5 will get the Android Oreo Open Beta update this November. He also said that there are over 250 closed beta testers and over 15,000 open beta testers.
