OnePlus 6 OxygenOS 5.1.6 update brings front camera portrait, battery percentage in status bar and more


OnePlus has rolled out OxygenOS 5.1.6 for the latest OnePlus 6 smartphone that brings several new features, including the portrait mode support for the front camera, as it had promised at the launch event. It also brings battery percentage in the status bar, Idea VoLTE support in India (However some are reporting that it still doesn’t work), Dual-4G network option and more, including power consumption optimization and system stability improvements.   • Added Portrait Mode for the front camera
  • Added preview for Light Bokeh effect in Portrait Mode of the rear camera

  • Supported battery percentage in the status bar
  • Improved ringtone volume and sound quality
  • Now able to schedule Do Not Disturb(DND) mode
  • Added Dual-4G network option in SIM & network settings
  • Optimized power consumption and Improved system stability

Earphone mode

  • Added smart answer for Bluetooth – automatically answer incoming calls when connecting to Bluetooth devices

The OnePlus 6 OxygenOS 5.1.6 over-the-air (OTA) update is 223MB in size and still has May 2018 Android security patch. It is rolling out gradually for all the users.
