OnePlus has released OxygenOS 9.0.0 Android 9.0 (Pie) stable update for its 5 and 5T smartphones, after it rolled out beta update couple of weeks back. This comes after the OnePlus 6 got the stable Android Pie-based OxygenOS 9.0 update back in September. The update brings new navigation gestures for the 5T, Google Lens integration in camera, Gaming mode 3.0 and more features.

OnePlus just launched the OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition in India, as it had promised. It was introduced at an event in UK yesterday, packs 10GB of RAM and 30 watt Warp Charge 30, OnePlus’ new charging standard that promises 50% charge in just 20 minutes of charge for a day’s use. That company has used new Integrated Circuits in both the charger and the phone, as well as finely tuned power management software without generating excessive heat.

OnePlus 6T has a smarter camera with Google Lens powered by AI

OnePlus unveiled  its most expected OnePlus 6T smartphone couple of weeks back. In addition to several new camera features such as Nightscape for the best night shots and Studio lighting that uses face detection for the best portraits, the OnePlus 6T also comes with Google Lens built right into the camera app. Google Lens can not only detect an object, but it can also understand what it detects and offer actions based on what it sees. Google Lens can be accessed from ‘More’ option in the camera app.
