OnePlus 7 Pro: Display is HDR10+ certified, supports UFS 3.0 storage


OnePlus already confirmed the OnePlus 7 Pro has A+ rating from DisplayMate, and is ‘Safety for Eyes’ certified by VDE. Today the company has confirmed that it is also HDR10+ certified, providing users with a more dynamic, detailed and vivid viewing experience. It has also partnered with popular video streaming websites, YouTube and Netflix for HDR10 viewing.

OnePlus CEO Pete Lau, said:

HDR10+ is the future of not just television displays, but also smartphone displays as well. We’re glad we are leading the ranks in sharing quality technology with the world.

The CEO also confirmed that the OnePlus 7 series will include UFS 3.0 that delivers 2,100 MB/s speed, twice the speed of the eUFS storage (eUFS 2.1) so that it offers faster app loading, image captures, improved boot time and more. The company has been teasing OnePlus 7 series will offer faster and smoother experience.

OnePlus recently confirmed that OnePlus 7 Pro will have daily water resistance, but will lack IP ratings. It has started pre-bookings on Amazon.in and offers 6 months free one-time screen replacement for pre-bookings.
