OnePlus launched its latest flagship smartphones, OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro earlier this month. While the OnePlus 7 Pro went on sale from May 17th at Amazon.in, OnePlus.in and other offline stores, the OnePlus 7 was not available yet. Today, OnePlus India has officially announced that OnePlus 7 smartphone will go on sale in India from June 4th on Amazon.in.

OnePlus has released OxygenOS open beta update 11 for the OnePlus 6T and beta 19 for the OnePlus 6 that brings several improvements, including Zen Mode and Screen Recorder features that were introduced with the OnePlus 7 Series that were launched earlier this month. Zen Mode that runs for 20 minutes so you can receive only emergency calls and use minimal features. The update also adds pin-to-top feature for notification in India as well as several fixes and optimizations.

OnePlus has started rolling out OxygenOS 9.5.4 update (OxygenOS 9.5.5 for Europe as per Google’s instructions) that brings optimizations for double tap to wake and ambient display and audio for Bluetooth headset when playing games as well as camera improvements for HDR, low-light, fixes for white balance and focus issues.

OnePlus has finally released Android Pie stable update for OnePlus 3 and 3T smartphones with OxygenOS 9.0.2, as it had promised last year. It rolled out Android Pie beta update for the phones last month. OnePlus 3 and 3T were launched back in 2016 running Android 6.0.1 (Marshmallow). This is the third major Android update for the phones after Android Nougat in 2017 and Android Oreo update last year. The company has already guaranteed Android security updates for the phones till November 2019.

Today the company has announced that it has signed the popular Hollywood actor Robert Downey Jr. for a long-term marketing and brand campaign, and he will be seen in a new ad featuring the OnePlus 7 Pro. OnePlus introduced the Bullets Wireless 2 at the OnePlus 7 series launch, but it has silently introduced the Warp Charge 30 Car Charger, which is the successor of the Dash Charge Car Charger that was introduced with the OnePlus 3 back in 2016. The new Warp Charge 30 Car Charger offers the same 30 watt (5V-6A) output to charge the OnePlus 7 Pro or the Bullets Wireless 2 that have the support. It has 12V/24V=4.5A input.

Along with the OnePlus 7 and the OnePlus 7 Pro, OnePlus also introduced the OnePlus 7 Pro 5G at its event, after the company showcased a 5G prototype smartphone at the MWC in February. As the company had already announced last year, it will be available exclusively with EE in the UK and Elisa in Finland. The company has not announced any other partnerships and did not reveal the price or the availability of the phone in these markets.
