Nokia XL Dual SIM Android Phone Photo Gallery

Nokia has surprised every one of us with the launch of their first Android phones, the Nokia X, X+ and XL. All the three are based on a very similar design language, but differ somewhat in internals. The X+ has more RAM and a micro SD card in the box, the XL is very similar to the X+ but has a bigger screen, that’s basically it. The Nokia XL has a 5 inch IPS WVGA screen with blacks that look decently dark and colours that are unwashed. With a good large screen and decent internals, does Nokia have a winner in the cheap phablet category? While we ponder on that, here is a bunch of photos straight from the Mobile World Congress 2014 event we are live from.

Nokia X+ Dual SIM Android Phone Photo Gallery

Nokia has just announced its first range of Android phones under the “X” moniker and among them is the Nokia X+ Dual SIM Android phone, which differs slightly from its counterpart. The main difference here is the inclusion of a 4 GB micro SD card out of the box and the amount of RAM inside. The Nokia X+ has 768 MB of RAM, 256 higher than the Nokia X, which should help in some multitasking and better gaming, but otherwise, both the phones are very similar from the outside. It has a 4 inch WVGA screen, is powered by a 1 GHz Dual Core Snapdragon processor and best of all, runs on Android AOSP with a tile-like Nokia skin. Lets see some of the photos of this phone.

Nokia has unveiled the Asha 230 and Asha 230 Dual SIM, the company’s most affordable Asha device at the Under the Tree event at the MWC 2014. It has a 2.8-inch QVGA touch screen, 1.3-megapixel rear camera, Bluetooth 3.0 with Slam sharing feature, micro USB, expansion slot that supports cards up to 32GB and packs a 1020 mAh battery. It runs on the new Nokia Asha software platform v1.1.1 with new Nokia Fastlane features, Nokia Xpress Browser.

Nokia X series to have free SwiftKey X keyboard

Nokia has just announced its first series of Android powered smartphones, but with a heavy layer of customization. Nokia are using just the Android and instead of using Google’s cloud service, Nokia are using Microsoft’s cloud service. In addition to that, they are also heavily customizing the UI which looks like a mix of Asha’s Fastlane UI and Microsoft Windows Phone 8 UI.

Nokia XL – a 5inch Android Nokia smartphone unveiled at MWC 2014

Nokia was rumored to announce a Nokia Android budget smartphone at the MWC 2014 and they haven’t disappointed. Nokia has announced, not one, not two, but three Android powered smartphones at the MWC 2014 Under The Tree event. Among the three Nokia Android smartphones, the Nokia XL is the biggest of the lot. It competes with the 5inch mid-range Android smartphones in the Indian market.

Nokia X+ announced at MWC 2014

We knew Nokia Android smartphones were coming, but we din’t expect three of them. As expected Nokia announced the Nokia X which was masquerading the rumorlands as Nokia Normandy for quite some and we are also having an interesting upgraded Nokia X in the form Nokia X+. Though Nokia wasn’t exactly specific about the specifications, it is clear from the naming convention that Nokia X+ will be a slightly better version of the Nokia X.

Nokia X – Nokia’s Android smartphone announced

At the MWC 2014, Nokia has just announced its first Android powered smartphone in the form of Nokia X. Nokia X was long rumored and it had been going around the rumor mill as Nokia Normandy. Nokia X’s software platform is built over AOSP with Microsoft’s Cloud services along with Nokia experience. Nokia X is one of the three Android powered smartphones that Nokia has announced today. Nokia X serves as the entry range option for the Nokia X series of AOSP powered devices.

Nokia has just announced the Nokia 220, the company’s latest affordable phone that starts at just 29 Euros or around Rs. 2,500. It also comes in a dual SIM variant, the Nokia 220 Dual SIM. It has a 2.4-inch (320 x 240 pixel) LCD screen and also has a T9 keypad. It has a 2-megapixel fixed-focus rear camera and 2G support. It has Bluetooth 3.0, USB 2.0, FM Radio, Flashlight and a 1100 mAh battery.

Nokia Lumia 630 press image leaks ahead of launch

Just a day before the Nokia press conference at the Mobile World Congress, the Nokia Lumia 630 has appeared in the form of a press image. Evleaks, the prolific twitter account known for accurate leaks had posted this image with no extra information. The Lumia 620 was launched at Le Web sometime last year and the 630 clearly looks like a similarly designed successor. With a similarly small and rounded design, the Lumia 630 might just be an evolution in the internals rather than a full fledged successor with a different design.

Nokia has finally unveiled their plans for the MWC 2014 next week. It sent out Invites for the event last week. Now the company has posted a large image in green color that indicates the letter X. We already know that Nokia is planning to release the Nokia X phone at the MWC. It was previously called Project Normady. Evleaks already revealed a range of press shots. It recently posted an image of the phone in green color, that matches the teaser. It also revealed the complete specifications of the phone. Nokia Lumia Icon heads to Verizon, packs Snapdragon 800 processor & 5 inch 1080p display

The long rumored Nokia Lumia Icon has finally been announced and it packs quite a punch. The device that is exclusive to Verizon, combines the specifications of the Lumia 1520 with the size of the Nokia Lumia 928. The phone sports a 5 inch OLED display with a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels. Packed into the five inch frame this gives it a pixel density of 441ppi. The dimensions of the phone are fairly svelte at 5.39” x 2.79” x 0.39” inches while the weight comes in at 166 grams. The Lumia Icon is wrapped in a metallic shell with ceramic keys which should help it look and feel decidedly less plasticky compared to the Lumia 928. Nokia teases #NokiaFG on Twitter, possibly an accessory?

Nokia has started teasing some of its products as the Mobile World Congress event is heading closer and closer. Among many of the teasers on various social networks, the company has posted an image of various phones stacked together, and tagged it as “2014’s hottest fashion… #NokiaFG coming soon ;)” which makes no sense for us, but the picture may has some clues.

Nokia Lumia 1320 Review

Back in October at it’s Nokia World event, the Finnish smartphone manufacturer showed off two devices that were meant to capitalize on the trend favoring larger screen sizes. Packed with 6 inch panels and some special Nokia bits baked into Windows Phone 8, the two devices were intriguing to say the least.
