HMD Global just launched its flagship Nokia 8 smartphone in India, as expected. It was announced last month and packs a 5.3-inch Quad HD display with sculpted Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection, is powered by an Octa-Core Snapdragon 835 Mobile Platform and runs on Android 7.1.1 (Nougat), which is also upgradable to Android O update. it has 13-megapixel dual rear cameras, one with a color sensor and the other with a monochrome sensor for low light and dedicated black and white photography. It also has ZEISS optics and OIS. It is also Splashproof with IP54 ratings.

HMD Global schedules an event in India on September 26, Nokia 8 with dual rear cameras expected

Nokia 2 budget 4G smartphone with 4000mAh battery surfaces in press image

HMD Global is all set to introduce Nokia 2 (TA-1029) smartphone soon. FCC certification revealed the image of the phone recently and it was revealed in the latest FCC listing that the phone will pack a 4000mAh battery. Now Evan Blass aka @evleaks has posted a clear press image of the phone in Black and Silver colors. This shows on-screen buttons for the phone, even though there is a huge bezel below the screen.

Nokia 6 sold out in under 1 minute in first sale on Amazon India

Nokia 6 went on sale in India today for Rs. 14,999, exclusively on Amazon at 12PM today. HMD Global just announced that the phone sold out in less than a minute in the first flash sale, same thing that happened at the first sale in China. Nokia 6 gets over 1 million registrations on Amazon India ahead of sale on August 23

HMD global is all set to introduce its flagship Nokia 8 smartphone on August 16. The phone had already surfaced in Geekbench listing confirmed some of the specifications Today Nokia 9 with model numbers TA-1004, TA-1012, TA-1052 has surfaced on GFXBench listing, but the phone will likely be called the Nokia 8.

Nokia received $2 billion up-front cash payment from Apple as part of patent settlement
