It looks like HMD Global will launch a new Nokia smartphone soon. After Nokia 3, Nokia 5, Nokia 6 and Nokia 8, the company might soon unveil the Nokia 2.
Just had another look at the FCC docs for the supposed "Nokia 2" from HMD Global (TA-1029 in this case) - they list a 4000mAh (!!!) battery.— Roland Quandt (@rquandt) September 13, 2017
Spotted at FCC a month ago, more specification details of the phone have surfaced. Popular tipster Roland Quandt has shared the FCC filing via Twitter that states Nokia 2 will sport a 4000mAh battery – the largest battery that is present on any Nokia phone until now. The Nokia 2 that goes by model number TA-1029 is rumoured to sport a 5-Inch HD display and could be powered by a 1.27 GHz Quad-core Qualcomm 212 processor. It will most likely come with 2GB of RAM, 64GB of internal storage that can be expanded via microSD card slot. It is tipped to sport an 8-megapixel rear camera, and a 5-megapixel front camera. The phone is said to run on Android 7.1 Nougat.
In terms of design, the Nokia 2 looks similar to the latest Nokia with a sturdy body. Considering the specs, it looks the Nokia 2 will be another mid-ranger.
