HMD Global just announced Nokia 7, the company’s latest mid-range smartphone in China, as expected. It has a 5.2-inch 1080p 2.5D curved glass display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection, is powered by Snapdragon 630 Mobile platform, runs on Android 7.1.1 (Nougat), which is upgradable to Android 8.0 (Oreo), has a 16-megapixel rear camera with f/1.8 aperture, dual-tone LED flash, ZEISS and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. HMD Global launched the Nokia 6 smartphone in India back in June, which went on sale in August for Rs. 14999. We already brought you the review of the phone, here we have the battery life test results of the phone. It packs a 3000mAh built-in battery, but lacks support for fast charging. It’s probably fair to say that there’s a bit of nostalgia associated with the Nokia brand. Most cellphone enthusiasts have sported one at some point in their life and others continue to swear by the legacy of the brand. There was a collective hurrah in the tech reviewer/journalist/blogger community when HMD Global first announced its comeback. Rooting for the underdog while maintaining a degree of skepticism, it was a bit disappointing to see the entry-level, mid-range offerings at MWC. The question on everyone’s mind was obvious. HMD Global introduced the 3310 feature phone with 2G support at the MWC 2017 earlier this year, and it was launched in India in May. Today it has unveiled the Nokia 3310 3G, a 3G variant of the phone in two new color variants. It also has more spacing between the buttons, letting you dial, text and tweet more comfortably. It comes with a new improved, customizable retro user interface that lets you change the icon colors and position.
