Kik Messenger for Symbian^3 Nokia phones is now available for download from the Nokia Store. It has been in beta for the past few months and they have improved the app a lot based on their feedback. Nokia has launched Nokia Asha 300, Touch and Type phone in India. It was announced at Nokia World 2011 in October. runs on S40 OS and is powered by 1 Ghz processor and has 3G capability. It is one of the phone to come with Angry birds pre-installed. It has 2.4-inch resistive touch display and is 12.7mm thick and weighs 85g. Nokia has launched Nokia Asha 200, Dual SIM QWERTY phone in India. It was announced in Nokia World 2011 in October. Nokia has launched Nokia Music Unlimited Service with DRM free Music for their newly launched phones, Nokia X2-02, Nokia Asha 200 and Nokia Asha 300. It would offer users to download and share music from the Nokia Music Store that are DRM-free, pre-activated (on the device) and also offers easy browsing and renewal. Nokia has launched Nokia X2-02, Dual SIM music phone with dual standby and easy swap functionality in India. This is the successor of the Nokia X1-01 that was launched earlier this year. It comes with Wireless FM Radio with recording, MP3 player, dedicated music keys, an in-built loudspeaker for music playback with 106 phon strength, Nokia browser, 3.5mm audio jack and 32GB expandable memory card slot. Nokia World 2011 – a late recap
It was this time of the year again, where the heart of every Nokia Fan beats a little bit faster. Nokia Enthusiasts, bloggers, journalists and many more took the trip to London, to join Nokia and see what they have been up to. Same as last year, Nokia World has again been held at the Excel Center in London. I was lucky enough to get an invitation from the awesome people at Nokia Connects and Stephanie from Nokia Austria, and that itself made sure for a fun ride! This years showcase of everything Nokia promised to be a big one, with Windows Phone finally arriving in the form of something we can get our hands on, and since I’m a firm believer in the partnership between Microsoft and Nokia, I can’t say I wasn’t excited to finally get over there and see what the Finns are up to. Keep in mind, this will not be an in-depth analysis of what happened at the keynote, nor will i deep dive into the handsets (that will come later on), what you’re about to read were my personal experiences, and how it felt to be part of the event. There’s A Special Spot In Hell For The Nokia N9
After a few hours with the N9 in my hands, I was even more convinced (as if that was possible) of why Nokia had to make the decision to go with Windows Phone as its main Operating System. Despite the sheer joy of discovering a new OS, using and abusing the swipe gestures, and marveling at the well thought-out package between Meego and the N9’s hardware, I have to say that Meego is simply not up to par with other OSes at this point, and the N9 also comes with some terrible decisions.

There’s A Special Spot In Heaven For The Nokia N9
For the past two days, I have had one of the most elite and exclusively available smartphones in my hands: the Nokia N9. Prior to trialling this unit, I was what you can call an N9-virgin: I knew it had something called Swipe, I knew there was a PR1.1 firmware that fixed a lot of bugs and added the possibility to share a picture to Twitter, and I knew everyone loved the design. That’s about it. I hadn’t seen any videos or read any extensive reviews because I wanted to avoid adding any other expectations about the N9. The device, and the OS, had already a lot of baggage and prejudice attached to them, what with Nokia’s decision to go with Windows Phone as its main platform, so I needed to leave a little bout of mystery around the N9 and give it the chance to surprise me.
In this post, and the following one that will come tomorrow, I will discuss the different aspects of the Nokia N9 and Meego that WOW’ed me then the ones that made me swear to the gods of mobile phones for the torture they were putting me through. These are, by no means, a full review of the N9, and I will try to stray away from all the tech talk that you can find in any other N9 posts. So let’s focus on the positive first.

Nokia Lumia 800 SIM-Free stocks arriving on December 1 in UK
The first Nokia Windows Phone went on sale in the UK few days back in the UK and few other countries . (Read our Nokia Lumia 800 Review). But looked like it was available in limited stores and more easily on a contract. Now online retailer has announced that SIM-Free / Unlocked units of the Lumia 800 will arrive on December 1st in the UK compared to the January 2012 timeframe announced previously.

Nokia N9 v1.1 Software Update rolling out now
While some users have already got the much awaited PR 1.1 software update for the Nokia N9 which is only MeeGo device from Nokia , others can expect it to get it soon through an OTA update. Nokia 700 goes on sale in India
The Nokia 700 is now available for purchase in India from the online retailer Flipkart. Nokia launched the Nokia 600, 700 and 701 in India this September and Nokia 701 is already available in the market. Nokia Lumia 800 and 710 Windows Phone devices coming in mid-December to India
Nokia and Microsoft has unveiled the Lumia 800 and the Lumia 710, Nokia’s first Window Phone devices in India. Both the Lumia 800 and the Lumia 710 were unveiled at the Nokia World 2011 in London. The Nokia Lumia 800 has a unibody design and comes with a 3.7-inch (800 x 480 pixels) ClearBlack AMOLED display. The Nokia Lumia 700 comes with a 3.7-inch (800 x 480 pixels) ClearBlack TFT display. Both these devices are powered by 1.4 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon Scorpion CPU and runs on Windows Phone 7.5 (Mango) OS.
