LG L60 with 4.3-inch display, 1.3 GHz dual-core processor and Android 4.4 goes official

LG L60, the company’s latest smartphone in the LG Series III Lineup has been listed on its official website in Russia, where it’s called L60 X145. It has a 4.3-inch WVGA screen, runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat), has a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a VGA front-facing camera, similar to the LG L65 Dual that went on sale in Russia back in April. But this is powered by a 1.3 GHz dual-core processor, comes with 512MB RAM and packs a 1,540 mAh battery.

LG G3 A with 5.2-inch 1080p display, Snapdragon 800 SoC and LTE-A launched in Korea

LG unveiled the LG G3, the company’s latest flagship smartphone with 5.5-inch Quad HD display back in May. It had Snapdragon 801 SoC clocked at 2.5 GHz and support for LTE-A up to 150Mbps. The company even launched the LG G3 Cat.6 in Korea with similar display, Snapdragon 805 and support for LTE-A up to 225Mbps. Today the company has launched LG G3 A, a new LG G3 variant with 5.2 inch IPS Full HD display and Snapdragon 800 processor, exclusively for Korean operator SKT. LG G3 Stylus spotted at FCC, expected to launch this quarter

The LG G3 Stylus was recently revealed in an official LG G3 Beat promo video. Now a fresh report from the Korean Times suggests that the phone will be a budget-friendly handset and not a flagship device like the LG G3.

LG G3 Stylus, an upcoming LG smartphone has been revealed on official LG G3 Beat promo video. It shows the smartphone with a stylus, similar to the LG G Pro Lite. LG has not released a high-end phablet with a stylus like Samsung, which has the Galaxy Note series. This could happen with the upcoming G3 Stylus.

LG G Watch software update to fix hardware corrosion issues

LG’s G Watch is amongst the first Android Wear running devices out there and has achieved moderate success amongst the enthusiast circles. With early adoption comes a bit of a risk though and this was witnessed by an increasing number of users in the form of corrosion buildup on the POGO pins located at the back of the watch. LG G Vista with 5.7-inch display goes official for Verizon

LG G Vista that surfaced earlier this month has gone official for the Verizon in the US. It has a 5.7-inch HD display with  Corning Gorilla Glass 3 Screen Protection, powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor and runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat). It has a  8-megapixel rear camera with single LED flash, laser auto focus and a 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera.

LG G3 to come in Moon Violet and Burgundy Red variants in August

LG G3, the flagship smartphone from LG will soon be available in more colors. The company had announced at the time of the launch in May that it will be available in total five colors. However, the LG G3 was made available only in Metallic Black, Silk White, Shine Gold colors.

LG is working on a 5 inch Windows Phone under the model number LG D635. According to Alan Mendelevich, the founder of cross-promotion network AdDuplex, the handset has showed up in the network’s database.

LG introduces Android-powered Tab Book with 11.6-inch 1080p display and Core i5 processor

LG has introduced Tab Book (11TA740-GA50K), the company’s latest Android convertible. It is a variant of the Tab Book 2 with Windows 8.1 that was unveiled earlier this year at the CES. It has the same 11.6-inch (1920 × 1080 pixels) full HD display, powered by a 2.6GHz 4th Gen Intel Core i5 4200U processor with Intel HD Graphics 4400, but this runs on Android 4.2.2 (Jelly Bean). LG G3 Camera Samples

You might have seen our review of the LG G3, which details a lot of the flagship’s features, but when it comes to the camera, the Korean company has sought to keep things almost the same as its predecessor. The LG G3 comes with the same Sony made 13 megapixel stacked CMOS sensor as the G2, complete with dedicated ISPs for fast image processing. The f2.4 aperture is not class leading or even fast, by today’s smartphone standards, but seems to be clear at the least, helping in taking sharp pictures. Coupled with OIS+, the new laser autofocus module and the dual tone flash, LG takes the successful combination from the G2, one step ahead. LG reports Q2 2014 earnings, record 14.5 million smartphones shipped

LG Electronics has announced their earnings for Q2 2014, in which it has reported net profit of 412 billion Won (US$ 399.8 million) with operating profits of 606 billion Won (US$ 588.5 million). Mobile communications sector earned revenues of 3.62 trillion Korean Won (US$ 3.51 billion), 16% increase YoY. LG has unveiled the LG G3 Cat.6 (Category 6), a variant of the LG G3 with Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 SoC and support for faster LTE-A up to 225 Mbps with Qualcomm Gobi 9×35 LTE Advanced Cat 6 Modem. Samsung unveiled the Galaxy S5 broadband LTE-A with a similar processor, LTE-A support and  5.1-inch (2560 x1440 pixels) Quad HD Super AMOLED display in Korea last month.
