Huawei Honor 3X Pro with 5.5-inch 1080p display and Honor 3C 4G with Android 4.4 announced

Huawei has announced the Honor 3X Pro and the 4G variant of the Honor 3C in China. It unveiled the Honor 3X and the Honor 3C back in December last year. The Honor 3C was launched in India earlier this month and the international variant of the Honor 3X was launched as Ascend G750. Huawei Ascend G6 and Ascend G750 launched in India for Rs. 16999 and Rs. 24999

Huawei also launched the Ascend G6 and the Ascend G750 in India along with the Honor 3C. The Ascend G6 that was announced earlier this year at the MWC packs a 4.5-inch (960 x 540 pixels )IPS display, powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and runs on Android 4.3 with Huawei’s own Emotion UI 2.0 lite on top. Huawei Ascend P7 with 5-inch 1080p display, 13MP camera, 4G LTE announced

Huawei has finally announced the Ascend P7, the successor of last year’s Ascend P6 at an event in Paris, France. It has a 5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) full HD IPS  touch-sensitive display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3, powered by Huawei’s own 1.8 GHz quad-core processor with Mali-450 MP4 GPU and runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat) with Huawei own Emotion UI 2.3 on top. It has a 13-megapixel rear camera with Sony’s BSI sensor, f/2.0 aperture and Huawei’s proprietary Image Signal Processor (ISP). Huawei Ascend P7, the successor of the Ascend P6 was expected to be unveiled at the MWC 2014 earlier this February when the live images of the phone leaked, but Huawei unveiled the Ascend P7 mini at the MWC ahead of Ascend P7. The company recently announced that it would unveil the Ascend P7 at an event Paris on May 7th. A week before the launch, @evleaks has posted some press shots of the smartphone. The Huawei Ascend G730 that was announced at the MWC 2014 earlier this year and the Ascend Y600 that was unveiled earlier this month have been priced in India on the official Huawei India website. The Ascend G730 has a 5.5-inch qHD screen and the Y600 comes with a 5-inch FWVGA display. Both these phones are powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core processor and runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean) with Huawei’s own Emotion UI on top. Huawei India joins hands with Royal Challangers Bangalore for IPL 2014

Huawei India has inked a partnership deal with Royal Challangers Bangalore to be the principal sponsor for the upcoming IPL 2014. As a result of the partnership, Huawei’s logo will appear on the jersey’s of the Bangalore-based team which is captained by Virat Kohli.

Huawei has launched seven new WiFi Data cards under Laptopi-Fi, Power-Fi and Mobi-Fi categories. The lineup includes, Laptopi-Fi plug-and-play data cards E5220 and E515, Power-Fi data cards, E8231 and E8221, which can work with external power source for connectivity and the Mobi-Fi devices E5220, E5151 and E5730 with built-in battery. Huawei drops plans for its dual boot Android and Windows Phone devices

Last week, Asus dropped its dual boot tablet – Transformer Duet owing to pressure from Google and Microsoft. It looks like that was just a sign of things to come. Today, Huawei, a Chinese manufacturer has announced that it is dropping its plans to build a Android and Windows Phone smartphone.

Huawei to reportedly launch Android / Windows Phone dual-OS smartphone in Q2 2014

Last month there were reports that Karbonn would launch dual-OS phones running both Android and Windows Phone by June. Huawei would also launch a similar dual-OS device, running both Android and Windows Phone, according to a recent report from TrustedReviews. Huawei Ascend P6 starts getting Android 4.4 KitKat in China

Huawei Ascend P6 was the phone that was supposed to push Huawei into the International market as a notable manufacturer, but it din’t succeed as much as they company would have loved. But nevertheless, it was a great phone with exceptional build quality. The Huawei Ascend P6 was launched with Android 4.2.2 Jellybean on board overlaid by Huawei’s Emotion UI 1.6. Huawei had assured us that they would be upgrading the device to Android 4.4.2 KitKat and true to their word, they have already started rolling out the update in China.

Huawei reportedly has a 2K smartphone in the works

Huawei is a company known to push boundaries as they were the first to introduce a 6inch + device in the form of Huawei Ascend Mate. Ever since, they have been lagging behind other Chinese manufacturers, but things are looking good now. Chinese manufacturer Oppo was the first company to come up with a 5inch Full HD smartphone in the form of Oppo Find 5 and they would have wanted to continue the being first in displays race with the Oppo Find 7, but that wasn’t the case. Vivo XPlay 3S is the world’s first smartphone to feature a 2K display sporting a resolution of 2560×1440 pixels. According to rumors, Huawei also has plants to compete in the pixel race and is reportedly working on its own version of a 2K display smartphone.

Huawei Ascend G6 Hands On

At the MWC 2014, Huawei was rumored to announce a mid-range LTE capable smartphone and as expected, they announced a midrange smartphone in the form of Huawei Ascend G6. Huawei had launched a couple of tablets and a lone smartphone at the event. Unlike the tablets, which are powered by Huawei’s own processor, the Ascend G6 smartphone is powered by a quad-core processor from Qualcomm.

Huawei MediaPad M1 Hands On

At the MWC 2014, Huawei announced a couple of Aluminum clad tablets and a smartphone. Among the two tablets, the Huawei MediaPad M1 is the mid range tablet. Under the hood, it packs the same processor as the Huawei MediaPad X1, but comes with a not so high resolution display like the MediaPad X1. It features a HD display, but comes with front facing stereo speakers.

Huawei MediaPad X1 Hands On

Huawei announced a couple of tablets and a smartphone at the MWC 2014. Among the new series of devices, the MediaPad X1 is a 7inch tablet that comes with calling facilities. Apart from the calling feature on a 7inch device, it comes with a high resolution display and a quad-core processor from Huawei. It is made of Aluminum and looks gorgeous.
