Google calls US DOJ’s antitrust lawsuit for search engine dominance ‘deeply flawed’

This week the United States Department of Justice (DoJ) filed a pretty big civil antitrust lawsuit against Google, possibly marking the beginning on a long-drawn-out legal battle against the two. The lawsuit is targeting Google’s unlawful monopolistic behavior which include anticompetitive and exclusionary practices, which Google denies.

Google Search can now identify songs by simply humming

For quite a while now, the Google Search app has supported the ability to identify songs from recordings that are currently being played. Previously, Google only supported this identification from official recorded music, but now, thanks to its improvements in machine learning, the Search app can identify songs with just a hum of the song’s tune.

Google Pay adds support for payment via Kotak Mahindra Visa Debit, Credit Cards

Kotak Mahindra Bank has announced a new partnership with Google Pay, enabling their VISA debit and credit customers with the ability to make payments directly via the Google Pay mobile app. Once the card is linked, the feature will use the same tokenization method employed to make secure card payments on the platform.
