Google has officially launched Android mirroring on the Chromecast. Originally announced at the I/O the feature will let Chromecast owners with Android devices to “cast” mobile apps, photos, videos, and anything else from their device’s screen over to their TV sets.

Google has taken down multiple Google Play Edition devices from the Play Store. Devices like Sony Xperia Z Ultra, LG G Pad 8.3 and HTC One (M7) were taken down from the device section of the Play Store. These handsets along with Samsung Galaxy S4 were out of inventory for some time before they were officially taken down today.

However, in May there were reports that the game is making is way back in August with multiplayer capabilities. Google has announced a major update to Google Play Services to all the Android devices worldwide. The 5.0 update to Google Play Services brings support to Android Wear. This will bring new APIs that will let developers connect their apps to wearable devices running Android Wear. Google has been updating Drive with various features since last week. First it allowed the ability to edit Microsoft Office files and offline supports for Docs, Sheets and Slides. Also, the Drive app for Android got an update with revamped UI and more. Today, Google has made Docs and Sheet app compatible with recently announced Android L. The move comes from Google just two days after discontinuing QuickOffice from Play Store.
