Nexus 6 UK launch on December 1, pre-orders from 18 November

For fans awaiting the launch of the Google Nexus 6 in the UK, the wait is almost over as UK-based online retailer Mobiles.co.uk has announced the handset will launch in the UK on 1 December. As reported by Pocket-Lint, the Nexus 6 will be available to pre-order from 18 November and the retailer says that the handset “should be” from £28 per month. Unfortunately it doesn’t reveal the SIM free price of the handset, rather focusing on the details of the plan which uses the O2 network and offers unlimited minutes, texts and 1GB data each month. Last month Google announced the Nexus 6, the company’s flagship Nexus smartphone made by Motorola. Soon after the announcement Motorola India revealed that the smartphone would roll in 28 countries, including India starting later this year. Google today launched Indian Language Internet Alliance (ILIA), a group formed to promote growth of Indic-language content online, at an event in India. Google hopes to enable 300 million Indian language speakers to become highly engaged Internet users by 2017. Google rolled out Hindi language Voice Search in India few months back, today it launched it in the country officially, and also demoed it at the event. Google Search lets users enable voice search in five languages, out of more than 50 supported languages and dialect.
