Asus Fonepad 7 Hands On

Asus Fonepad saw yet another refresh at the IFA 2013 in Berlin and the Fonepad 7 was showcased among the many other Asus devices. The new Asus Fonepad 7 is a minor update over the earlier version of the Fonepad 7 with new front facing dual stereo speakers and an upgraded 5MP camera at the back. Asus MeMO Pad 8 vs Apple iPad Mini

Asus announced the MeMO Pad 8 (ME180A) at the IFA 2013 in Berlin last week. Apple launched the iPad mini, the company’s first 7.9 inch display last year. Since these two tablets are almost similar in the size, we managed do a hands on comparison at the IFA. The Asus MeMO Pad 8 has a 8-inch HD LED Backlit IPS multi-touch display with a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixel at 188 ppi pixel density. The iPad mini has a 7.9-inch LED Backlit IPS multi-touch display with a resolution of 1024 x 768 pixel at 162 ppi pixel density. The Memo Pad 8 uses a quad-core quad-core MediaTek MT8125 Cortex A7 chip clocked at 1.6 GHz with PowerVR SGX5 series GPU and runs on Android 4.2.2, while the iPad mini comes with a dual-core Cortex A7 chip with PowerVR SGX543MP2 GPU and runs on iOS 6.

Google Nexus 7 (2013) vs Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 311

Today we have the new Google Nexus 7 (2013) against Samsung’s Galaxy Tab 3 311. The new Nexus 7 was launched in July and is yet to be available in India while the Galaxy Tab 3 was launched in July and has been available since then in India.

The Nexus 7 comes with an upgraded processor, much better display and a rear camera which was absent in its predecessor while the Galaxy Tab 3 has Samsung’s Exynos SoC.

Asus Fonepad Note 6 announced with new Intel Z2580 processor

Asus is on an announcement spree at IFA and it has announced a refreshed Fonepad Note 6. The Fonepad Note FHD 6, which we originally saw at Computex earlier this year received a minor bump in the specifications. The new Fonepad Note 6 features a newer Intel Atom Z2580 dual-core processor and retains all the other features from the original Fonepad Note 6.

Asus has announced the Fonepad 7, successor of the Fonepad at the IFA 2013 in Berlin. It comes with a 7-inch (1280 x 800 pixels) IPS display with new smudge-resistant coating to prevent fingerprints, runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean) and is powered by a 1.6 GHz Intel Atom Z2560 processor with Hyper-Threading technology. It has a 5-megapixel rear camera with 1080p full HD video recording and a 1.2 MP front-facing camera. It has metallic finish and comes with 3G HSPA+ 3G with up to 42Mbit/s download speeds with voice calling features. Asus Fonepad 7 video ad surfaces ahead of IFA announcement

Asus had introduced the original Fonepad at MWC 2013 earlier this year and the Fonepad saw a slight bump in the specifications sometime during summer. Asus just posted and removed a video ad for the yet another refresh of the Fonepad.

Asus Padfone Infinity A86 with Snapdragon 800 processor leaks

New Asus Padfone Infinity A86 leak

Asus unveiled the Padfone Infinity earlier this year at the MWC 2013. It had a similar design as the Padfone 2, but it came with an upgraded hardware including a Snapdragon 600 processor and full HD display. Now images Padfone Infinity A86 has surfaced that is expected to pack a Snapdragon 800 processor. As you can see in the leaked images, the phone would be completely white, unlike the current Padfone Infinity smartphone that comes in black color. Google Nexus 7 (2013) vs Nexus 7 Benchmarks

Google Nexus 7 vs new Nexus 7 Benchmarks

Google released the new Nexus 7 manufactured by Asus last month. We brought you the review of the device recently, and here we managed to compare new and old Nexus 7 tablets in terms of benchmarks . The new Nexus 7 is powered by a 1.5 GHz quad-core Snapdragon S4 Pro (APQ8064) CPU and Adreno 320 GPU and has 2GB of RAM. The first Nexus is powered by a 1.3 GHz NVIDIA Tegra 3 GPU with 12 Core NVIDIA ULP GeForce GPU and had 1GB of RAM. The new Nexus 7 has a 7-inch 1920×1200 HD display and runs on the latest Android 4.3 (Jelly Bean) OS, we had also updated the old Nexus 7 to Android 4.3 (Jelly Bean). Let’s see how these two tablets perform in several benchmark tests.

Asus unveiled the Padfone Infinity, the third generation Padfone device back in Feburuary at the MWC 2013. It went on sale in Taiwan back in April. We brought you the unboxing of the device back in June and the benchmarks in July, here we have the complete review of the device. The Padfone Infinity has an optional Padfone dock similar to its predecessors that converts the phone into a tablet. Asus FonePad HD 7, MeMO Pad HD 8 and MeMO Pad HD 10 specifications surface

Specifications of the upcoming tablets Asus FonePad HD 7, MeMO Pad HD 8 and MeMO Pad HD 10 has surfaced online. The Asus FonePad HD 7 codenamed ME372CG ASUS, an upgrade to the current fonepad would have a 7-inch (1280 x 800 pixels) IPS display and run on dual-core Intel Atom Z2560 1.6GHz (Clover Trail +) CPU with PowerVR SGX544MP2 GPU clocked at 400MHz, The Asus MeMO Pad HD 8 codenamed ASUS ME180A would have Rockchip SoC and pack an 8-inch (1280 x 800 pixels) display, according to the leaked GFXBenchmark score. The high-end MeMO Pad HD 10 with the model number ME102A would be the cheaper version of the ASUS MeMO Pad HD 10. It would have a quad-core Rockchip 1.6GHz (graphics Mali-400 MP4) and 10.1 inche (1280 x 800 pixels) display. All these tablet would run on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean).
