Asus rumored to be working on two new Transformer tablets

Asus was the first company that introduced the concept of Android transformer tablet which a detachable dock. Asus was also the first company that came up with Asus PadFone concept. Despite being innovations of their own, both the series failed commercially. But Asus isn;t giving up. They have launched a lot of Transformer products till now and according to rumors from Italy, the company is working on two more models of Asus Transformer series.

Asus unveiled the Padfone Mini 4.3, the company’s first Padfone device with a smaller smartphone and docking station. We brought you the unboxing recently, here we have the benchmarks of the device. The phone has a quad-core Snapdragon 400 (MSM8226) ARM Cortex-A7 processor clocked at 1.40 GHz with Adreno 305 GPU, bit faster than the Motorola Moto G and the Samsung Galaxy Grand 2 that were clocked around 1.2 GHz. The phone has a 4.3-inch (960 x 540 pixels) qHD IPS screen and runs on Android 4.3 (Jelly Bean). et’s find out how the device performs in a range of synthetic benchmark tests. Asus Padfone Mini 4.3 Unboxing

Asus unveiled the Padfone Mini 4.3, the first mini version of the Padfone few months back. Unlike the Padfone with a 5-inch display that docks into the Padfone station with a 10.1-inch screen, this has a 4.3-inch screen and a smaller Padfone station with a 7-inch display. Remember, there are two Padfone Mini variants. The Padfone Mini 4.3 that we have unboxed has a 4.3-inch qHD screen and is powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor, while the new Padfone Mini that we saw at the CES 2014 last month has a 4-inch WVGA screen and is powered by a 1.6 GHz Intel Atom Z2560 chip. Asus PadFone E with 4.7-inch HD display, 10.1-inch tablet dock announced

After announcing the PadFone mini 4.3 with a 4.3-inch qHD display last month and the PadFone mini earlier this month with a 4-inch WVGA screen at the CES,  Asus has unveiled the PadFone E with a 4.7-inch HD screen and large 10.1-inch tablet dock in Taiwan. It has a 4.7-inch HD (1280×720 pixels) IPS display, 1.4 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor with Adreno 305 GPU and runs on Android 4.3 (Jelly Bean). It has PadFone station dock with a 10.1-inch (1280 ×720 pixels) display with anti-finger print coating and Corning gorilla glass protection. Google Nexus 8 powered by Intel Atom processor rumored for 2014

Google Nexus 7 (2013) is an affordable tablet, but it definitely isn’t the most affordable one right now and that is shifting the buyers to more budget friendly options. Google Nexus 7 (2013) is nearly 6 months old and we are hearing rumors that Google is already working on the next generation Nexus tablets. The rumored Google Nexus 8 will have a 8inch display and is likely to be powered by Intel’s Bay Trail processor.

Asus Transformer Book Duet TD300 Hands on

The original Asus Transformer tablet was a very interesting product as it was one of the first multiple usage device that could be used as a tablet as well as a laptop. However, the Transformer series has failed to make a commercial impact so far and Asus is not losing heart yet. At CES 2014, they announced another Transformer device – the Transformer Book Duet tablet/laptop that runs both Android and Windows 8.1. Asus PadFone Mini Hands on

Among the numerous Android smartphones and tablets that Asus showcased at CES 2014 was its trademark PadFone device. The yesteryear PadFone devices had top of the draw specifications, but this year’s Asus PadFone Mini is a more subtle yet affordable PadFone offering. Asus ZenFone 4 vs ZenFone 5 vs ZenFone 6 Size Comparison

Amidst a flurry of Android and Windows tablets and laptops, Asus unveiled a new series of Android smartphones at CES 2014. The new series of smartphones, Asus ZenFone series, comprises of three smartphones – ZenFone 4, ZenFone 5 and ZenFone 6. Each of the smartphones is named based on their screen size and all these offerings fall in the entry and mid-range category. Asus has announced the VivoTab Note 8, the company’s latest Windows 8.1 tablet.  Even though this would compete with the Acer Iconia W4, Toshiba Encore, Lenovo Miix 2 with similar specs, this has a Integrated Wacom Digitizer Stylus for better accuracy, speed, responsiveness and palm rejection. ASUS unveils the ZenFone range with 4, 5 and 6 inch screens sporting the ZenUI

After revealing the first Dual OS convertible, ASUS unleashed a whole new range of smartphones under the ZenFone range. Coming in three different screen sizes, the ZenFone line of devices are all about value for money and addressing choices in form factor as well as price. The three devices launched today are ZenFone 4, ZenFone 5 and ZenFone 6 with the number denoting their respective screen sizes. All the phones are powered by the Intel Atom processors with different configurations for each model, lets see what each one packs inside.
