ASUS has launched the ZenFone Zoom smartphone at an event in Agra, as it had promised. It packs a 13-megapixel camera with 3X optical zoom, Laser auto focus, optical image stabilization (OIS) and dual-LED Real Tone flash. It has a 5.5-inch 1080p display with Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection, is powered by a Quad Core Intel Z3590 processor, 4GB LPDDR3 RAM, runs on Android 5.0 (Lollipop) with Zen UI and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. Two variants of the Asus ZenFone 3 show up on benchmarks

ASUS Pegasus 5000, the company’s latest smartphone in the Pegasus series has gone official in China, after it got certified by TENAA last month. It has a 5.5-inch 1080p display, is powered by a 1.3GHz Octa-Core MediaTek MT6753 processor, runs on Android 5.1 (Lollipop) with Zen UI, has a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. Asus has started rolling out a new stability update for the ZenFone 2 (ZE551ML) that adds support for Android for Work. This will allow business users to securely access their contacts, docs, sheets, slides,Chrome, camera, email, calendar and files in a managed IT environment. Yesterday ASUS said that the camera-centric ZenFone Zoom smartphone will launch in the US next month and also said that it will be launched in India later this month, before the US launch. Asus today launched the ZenWatch 2, its latest Android Wear smartwatch in India. It was announced at the Computex 2015 in June last year and went on sale in the U.S. through Google Store in October 2015. The ZenWatch 2 comes in two models, WI501Q with a 1.63″ (320×320 pixels) 278ppi AMOLED display and WI502Q with a 1.45″ (280×280 pixels) 273ppi AMOLED display. Asus announced Zenfone Max with a 5000mAh battery at the ZenFestival in India back in August last year, finally it has launched the smartphone in the country. It has a 5.5-inch HD screen, is powered by a Snapdragon 410 SoC and runs on Android 5.0 (Lollipop). It has a 13-megapixel rear camera with real-tone LED flash, Laser auto focus and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. It has dual SIM support with 4G connectivity on both.

Asus introduced the Pegasus X002 smartphone back in December last year, later it introduced Pegasus X003 and also unveiled the Pegasus 2 Plus X550 smartphone back in July. Now the Pegasus X005 has been certified by TENAA in China. It has a 5.5-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) display, similar to the Pegasus 2 Plus, but this is powered by a 1.3GHz Octa-Core processor (MediaTek MT6753 likely). Asus launched the Zenfone Go, a budget smartphone in India back in September. Today the company has launched a smaller variant called Zenfone Go 4.5 with a 4.5-inch FWVGA screen and 1GB of RAM. It is powered by a quad-core MediaTek MT6580 SoC, has 3G support and runs on Android 5.1 (Lollipop), similar to the original Zenfone Go, but this has a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a VGA front-facing camera. Asus Zenfone 3 with fingerprint sensor expected to launch in May 2016

Asus is expected to announce the next generation of its Zenfone series in early 2016. A report from Digitimes states that the Taiwanese company will add fingerprint sensor to the Zenfone 3.
