ASUS has announced price cuts for their Zenfone 3 and Zenfone 3 Max series of Zenfone smartphones in India. Even though the company did not mention the reason for the price cut, this could be due to GST. The Zenfone 3 5.5-inch has received a huge Rs. 3000 price cut and few other smartphones have received Rs. 2000 price cut. Some of these Zenfone 3 smartphones got VoLTE support earlier this year.

ASUS said that the price cut will be reflected across all major e-commerce sites like Flipkart, Amazon, Snapdeal, and leading retail stores & Asus Exclusive Stores across India.
