ASUS is all set to introduce the ROG Phone II, the company’s second-generation gaming smartphone in China on July 23rd. It also confirmed 120Hz display and Snapdragon 855 Plus SoC for the smartphone. Now the phone has been certified by TENAA with the model numbers ASUS_I001DA and ASUS_I001DB confirming all the specifications of the phone including a 6.59-inch FHD+ OLED screen, up to 12GB RAM and up to 1TB storage, 48-megapixel rear camera and a 24-megapixel front camera. The image shows a secondary rear camera, but the camera details are not mentioned.

ASUS Zenfone Max Pro M1 was launched last year and the smartphone received a price cut earlier this year, bringing the starting price to Rs. 8499. Today, ASUS has officially announced another price cut on the Max Pro M1 and the new prices are applicable from today.

ASUS today has announced new additions to its ROG Zephyrus family with the launch of Zephyrus S Series, Zephyrus M, Strix G, Strix Scar III and Hero III gaming laptops in India. These laptops were unveiled at the Computex 2019 in Taipei and are now making its way to the Indian market. The gaming laptops are powered by 9th Gen Intel Core mobile processors, NVIDIA GeForce GPU and more.

Update: July 5, 2019 — Today the company has announced that the ROG Phone 2 will be announced on July 23rd in China. In addition to 120Hz display, 3C certification revealed 30W fast charging.

ASUS launched its flagship ASUS 6z(Zenfone 6) smartphone last week in India. The smartphone comes in three variants namely 6GB RAM with 64GB storage, 6GB RAM with 128GB storage and 8GB RAM with 256GB storage. It has a 6.46-inch Full HD+ no-notch LCD screen with narrow bezels and 92% screen-to-body ratio and Corning Gorilla Glass 6 protection, is powered by Snapdragon 855 with up to 8GB of RAM, runs stock Android 9.0 (Pie) with ZenUI 6 with updates for Android Q and R in the future, and features a motorized flip camera with 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 with Quad Bayer technology for 12MP effective images, along with a 13-megapixel 125-degree ultra-wide lens so that you can use it as both front and rear cameras, and the flip mechanism can be used in 90-degree position. You can also shoot 180-degree Panorama shots.

The smartphone is launching as 6Z in India on June 19th, after a recent high court order not to use ‘Zen’ or ‘ZenFone’ due to the trademark issue. Now, Asus 6Z is receiving a new firmware update that brings Super Night mode to the ultrawide camera, optimizes translation strings in Setting, improves system stability and more.

Earlier this week, Telecare Network filed a complaint at the Delhi High Court against ASUS for infringing on an existing trademark for the word Zen. Following the complaint, today, ASUS issued an official response regarding the recent High Court verdict.
