Get personalised answers with Personal Intelligence
Ask Maps now supports Personal Intelligence, allowing users to securely connect their Gmail account for personalised responses. When enabled, the feature can use information such as upcoming flight bookings and dinner reservations from Gmail to provide relevant suggestions.
For example, users travelling to a city can ask for ideas on how to spend time near their hotel before a flight. Ask Maps can use hotel reservation details from Gmail to suggest nearby places and provide information such as when to leave for the airport.
Google said Gmail connection is disabled by default, and users can choose whether to enable the feature. The company also said support for other apps, including Calendar, will be added in the future.
Resume past conversations
When history settings are enabled, Ask Maps can remember previous conversations, allowing users to continue earlier searches. Users can ask Maps to recall previous recommendations, such as activities suggested for a trip to Seattle, without starting the planning process again.

Ask Maps provides real-time information to help users check local conditions before travelling. The feature includes:
