Apple introduced iOS 9 at the WWDC 2015 few hours back, which is now available for developers as beta. It introduced iCloud back in 2011 to sync music, photos, apps, calendars, documents and settings between iOS devices Mac or PC. Apple launched iCloud Drive last year that allocates a folder for each of the applications that use iCloud and also lets you access the folder in the Finder. Apple introduces News app for iPhone and iPad, coming with iOS 9 this fall

Apple introduces Swift 2.0, will release it as open source for OS X, iOS and Linux

Apple announced Swift 2.0, a new version of its programming language at the WWDC that has been refined from the ground up. It would offer better performance, a new error handling API, and first-class support for availability checking, says Apple. The most important thing is that Apple is making Swift open source later this year, which will be available for OS X, iOS, and Linux. Apple Pay to be a part of Wallet, launching in UK this July

Apple Pay is the company’s mobile payment service that lets users with iPhones and the Apple Watch to make transactions at retail outlets and even online without requiring the use of a physical card. Launched last year, the service doesn’t require the use of an Apple specific payment terminal. Today at WWDC, the company announced that it now supports over 2500 banks from across America. It will also start supporting Discover based cards later this year which will bring an additional 50 million cards into the fold.
