Apple unveiled the Apple Watch Series 2, the company’s latest top-end wearable last month. It went on pre-order in India from Flipkart recently starting at Rs. 32,900. We already brought you the hands-on impressions, here we have the unboxing of the smartwatch.

The Apple Watch Series 2 42mm has 1.65-inch (312x 390 pixels) Second-generation OLED Retina display with 1000 nits brightness, two times brighter than the first Apple Watch and has Force Touch. It has Sapphire crystal on stainless steel and ceramic case versions, while the aluminum case version we have has Ion-X glass.

It has faster S1P Dual‑core processor, has built-in gyroscope, heart rate sensor and Taptic Engine that senses all the inputs. It has Ambient light sensor for automatic brightness adjustment, Built-in GPS for pace and distance tracking while exercising and is also Water resistant up to 50 meters.

It has Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g/n 2.4GHz), Bluetooth 4.0 and NFC for Apple Pay. It promises up to 18 hours of battery life.

It runs on watchOS 3.0 that comes with several new features, including new Watch faces, New Breathe app to take a moment in your day for short deep breathing sessions, New emoji and several improvements.

The Watch Series 2 has a ceramic back. You can see the heart rate sensor on the back. This has two microphones for accessing Siri, Apple’s voice activated assistant.
