Alcatel OneTouch has launched the Alcatel Onetouch Fire C smartphone running Firefox OS in India. It was introduced earlier this year at the MWC and packs a 3.5-inch HVGA screen, powered by a 1GHz processor and a 1.3-megapixel rear camera. It has 2G (EDGE) connectivity and Dual SIM support. It is exclusively being launched on Flipkart. Spice and Intex launched their budget Firefox OS smartphones recently. Alcatel One Touch unveiled the One Touch Pop 2 series of smartphones at IFA, Berlin 2014. We got to check out the 4.5-inch variant of the Pop 2 at the IFA. Check out the hands on and the photo gallery. The handset comes in Windows Phone and Android variant. It is a budget device from the company and measures 9.9mm thick and weighs 147g. Alcatel One Touch by TCL Communication has unveiled POP 2 series, the company’s latest budget smartphones and POP 8S entry-level tablet at IFA this year. These come in 4-inch, 4.5-inch, 5-inch, and 5.5-inch screen sizes with FWVGA resolution, powered by a 1.2 quad-core Snapdragon 410 processor and run on Android 4.4 (Kitkat), have a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera. Alcatel One Touch by TCL Communication has introduced Hero 8, the company’s latest tablet at the IFA 2014. It has a 8-inch full HD screen, powered by a MediaTek MT8392 Octa-Core processor, which is a new chip and it is has LTE support powered by MT6290 LTE modem. It runs on Android 4.4 (Kitkat), has a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. Alcatel One Touch by TCL Communication has introduced Hero 2, successor of the first Hero smartphone at the IFA 2014. It has a 6-inch 1080p display, powered by a 2 GHz Octa-Core processor and runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat). It comes with an integrated stylus pen that lets you create memos, professional sketches and more. It has optimized handwriting recognition so that you can take notes easily and also edit office documents on the go. Alcatel One Touch has launched the One Touch Hero and six new One Touch Idol series smartphones in India. The One Touch Hero was unveiled at IFA last year and packs a 6-inch 1080p display, powered by a 1.5 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6589T processor and runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean). It has a 13 MP rear camera, 2 MP front-facing camera, 2GB RAM, 16GB internal storage, which is expandable up to 32GB and a 3400 mAh battery. Alcatel, the French smartphone company, has finally launched the One Touch Idol X+ in India. Announced way back in December, we first saw the phone at CES. While the company took its own sweet time in bringing the device to India, it still remains relevant due to the presence of competitive specifications and above average build quality. The company has partnered with Flipkart to handle distribution much like Motorola. We got to spend some time with this octa core handset that enters an already crowded market, here’s our first impressions of the Alcatel One Touch Idol X+.
