Last week Xiaomi confirmed that it will introduce the Mi MIX 2S powered by Snapdragon 845 on March 27th. XDA recently uncovered some of the specifications of the phone. Now they have revealed more features of the phone, including support for Qi wireless charging, making it the first Xiaomi smartphone with the feature.
Xiaomi launched the Redmi Note 5 and Redmi Note 5 Pro smartphones in India last month, which went on sale exclusively on Flipkart as well as Mi.com from February 22nd, and the company said that over 3 lakh units sold out within minutes. Xiaomi introduced 43-inch and 49-inch 1080p, 55-inch and 65-inch 4K HDR TVs and the cheapest 32-inch smart TV in the Mi TV 4A series last year. In January it introduced a new 50-inch 4K HDR TV in the 4A. Today it has announced a new 40-inch Full HD TV in the series in China, ahead of the launch the Mi TV 4A series in India next week. Xiaomi launched the Redmi Note 5 and Redmi Note 5 Pro smartphones in four color variants in India on 14th February. The smartphone duo went on sale for the first time in India on 22nd February and company claims to have sold over 3 lakh units under 3 minutes followed by a 2nd sale on 28th February, but only Black and Gold variants were available in both sales. Xiaomi launched the Redmi Note 5 Pro smartphone in India last month along with the Redmi Note 5. We recently brought you the first impressions of the smartphone, here we have the camera samples from the phone. The Redmi Note 5 Pro has a 12-megapixel rear camera with Sony IMX486 sensor, PDAF, f/2.2 aperture and large 1.25μm pixel size. It has a secondary 5-megapixel camera with Samsung sensor, 1.12μm pixel size and f/2.0 aperture camera to capture the depth information. It also comes with LED flash. Xiaomi just teased the launch of new Mi TV series in India. We expected it to be Mi TV 4, now a temporary listing on the official Xiaomi site has revealed that the 32-inch Mi TV 4 is coming to India and it also reveals the price as Rs. 12,999, which is possible since it about the same in India.
Xiaomi announced Oreo based MIUI Global Beta program for Mi 6 back in December 2017 and Oreo based MIUI Global Beta ROM for the device was released in January. Xiaomi launched the Redmi Note 5 Pro in India a couple of weeks ago with a promise to bring face unlock via OTA before the end of March last week, the company delivered on the promise and released the OTA for enabling face unlock last week. Xiaomi today has launched India’s first Mi Home Experience store in Chennai. It is not a regular Mi Store, but a Store where products that are not available in India at Mi Home stores can be experienced. The Mi Home Experience Store will open tomorrow.

Xiaomi today announced that it has signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Microsoft to collaborate in cloud computing, artificial intelligence and the development of equipment for use with notebook computers. The companies will also collaborate in personal assistants using their own existing devices, including Microsoft’s Cortana.
The Mi TV is here. It would be safe to say that this is the next big category for Xiaomi in India. A 55 inch 4K HDR capable television panel for Rs. 39,999?
