The Meta-owned Facebook app is getting a revamp to its interface. This time it’s not the design changes, instead the company has split up the content we consume on the news feed (i.e. the feed we see when opening the app). Instagram rolls out all new searchable map

Mark Zuckerberg, the CEO of Meta, announced today that the company will give Instagram users a new map experience that can be searched and changes over time. Netflix loses nearly 1 million subscribers in Q2 2022; Ad-supported plan coming in early 2023

Netflix has reported its quarterly earnings that reveals that it has earned a revenue of $7.97 billion during the second quarter of 2022, a 9% increase YoY, thanks to 6% year-over-year increase in average streaming paid

Netflix is testing ‘Add a Home’ password sharing plans

Netflix has been dealing with the issue of households sharing account passwords for a long time. In an effort to address this, Netflix tried a feature called “add an extra member” in a few nations in March. To add sub-accounts for persons they don’t live with, members must pay an additional fee. The service is currently experimenting with a different approach to “Add a Home” in Argentina, the Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Guatemala, and Honduras. Earlier this year, WABeta discovered a new WhatsApp feature called “quick replies to status updates” that would allow users to respond to status updates by using emojis. Thanks to the recent WhatsApp beta for Android 2.22.16.10 update, which reveals that WhatsApp is finally working on adding the same feature on the Android app, the feature was discovered during the development of the WhatsApp Desktop beta. Instagram to let users buy products directly from chats

Instagram chats, also referred to as Direct Messages (DMs), will now allow users to make purchases straightforwardly from the platform in the U.S. The Meta-owned platform stated that the feature would be supported by a limited number of qualified small businesses. After placing an order in a chat thread, the user would be able to make the payment, track the order, follow-up questions and so on from the same thread. Twitter sues Elon Musk to force him to make $44 billion acquisition

Elon Musk, the CEO of Tesla, terminated the $44 billion deal he had previously signed to acquire Twitter on July 9.
