Twitter has finally released a new iPad app that has been built from ground-up. Twitter for Android and iPhone got a new UI back in December 2011. The iPhone and Android apps has also been updated with new features. These apps come with a new profile that lets you add header photos and Photo streams on profiles that shows images people have shared on Twitter and more new features. Facebook for BlackBerry v3.2 update brings Event support, Birthday Alerts and more

Facebook for BlackBerry has been updated to version 3.2 that brings 2 new features for the BlackBerry users. This version brings support for Facebook Events and Birthdays. You can also get birthday alerts and wish your friends directly on their Facebook timeline easily. This update also includes refreshed icons. Airtel launches Smartdrive mobile app with real time traffic information and Voice-based Navigation

Airtel is on a spree of launching mobile apps. They launched the my airtel app to pay bills and manage services. Now, they have launched Smartdrive app that offers real-time traffic information and voice based turn by turn navigation upon subscription. Google releases new YouTube app for iPhone

Since the license to include the YouTube app in iOS is over Apple removed the YouTube app in the latest iOS 6 beta, and said it would not come pre-installed with the iOS 6. Now, Google has released a separate YouTube app for iPhone. This app has new UI that looks similar to the Android app with the channel guide UI that shows subscribed channel on the left pane. It also has a search box with auto complete feature and voice search option. Google Drive for Android, iPhone and iPad updated with new features

Google has updated the Drive app for Android, iPhone and iPad. The new Google Drive for iPhone and iPad version 1.1.0 update brings Real-time collaboration feature finally. This feature was introduced in the Android app back in February. The Android app also have new features. Official uTorrent app finally arrives for Android

BitTorrent Inc has finally released the native uTorrent (Beta) app for Android. uTorrent development team announced earlier this year that they are working on an app for Android. This app would let you search and download torrents on the phone, maintain RSS subscriptions, set download / upload limits and more. Google Maps for Android gets Voice guided turn-by-turn Navigation and Live Traffic in India

Google has started rolling out 2 new features, Voice guided turn-by-turn Navigation and Live Traffic updates for the Google Maps for Android in India. The Voice guided turn-by-turn Navigation would be helpful while driving or walking. You can click the navigate button after you request for a destination. You can also turn the voice navigation off or select alternative routes. This feature was introduced back in 2009. Download YouWeCan Windows Phone app to Join Yuvraj Singh to fight against Cancer

Microsoft, in partnership with Yuvraj Singh’s cancer awareness initiative YouWeCan Fight Cancer has launched YouWeCan app initially, exclusively for the Windows Phone devices. This app is free to try, but the paid version at Rs. 565 gives users an opportunity to contribute their bit to fight cancer most directly, as this is what one Cancer detection costs. Large portion of the payment automatically goes to the Yuvraj Singh Foundation for their anti-cancer drive. Horn for Android NVIDIA Tegra optimized game now available for Download


HORN, a 3rd person action adventure game that was announced at the Google I/O 2012 back in June, is now available for the devices that are powered by NVIDIA Tegra 3 and Tegra 2 processors. It uses Unreal Gaming Engine 3, developed by Phosphor Games and published by Zynga. You play a young blacksmith’s apprentice named Horn, and you need to fight the enemies with sword, crossbow, trusty musical horn, explore the lands, and solve puzzles.
