Apple Music reportedly crosses 10 million subscribers

Apple Music has surpassed 10 million subscribers in just six months since its official launch in June, according to a new report from the Financial Times. The music streaming service was launched in June with three months of free trial.

Facebook Messenger hits 800 million monthly active users

Facebook has revealed that its Messenger app now has more than 800 million monthly active users (MAU). The social network said that Messenger crossed this mark at the end of 2015. In comparison, WhatsApp Messenger has 900 million monthly active users.

Google will switch to OpenJDK from Oracle’s Java APIs in Android N

Google has confirmed that it is biding adieu to Oracle’s proprietary Java application programming interfaces (APIs) for its next iteration of Android.
