Th Indian government has been pushing digital payments post demonetization with mobile wallets and other payment solution apps. Today, the government has gone a step further and has launched QR (quick response) code-based payment solution. Dubbed as BharatQR, the interoperable and low cost payment acceptance solution will allow people to pay for items without swiping their plastic cards.

YouTube will kill 30-seconds unskippable ads in 2018

YouTube’s most irritating 30-seconds unskippable ad format will go away next year. Google told the Campaign in a statement that it will kill this ad format in 2018. The video service will instead introduce more frequent six-second unskippable ads starting next year.

Facebook rolls out Community Help feature to help neighbors after a disaster

Facebook has rolled out a new Community Help feature to Safety Check which allows users to users to either offer or locate assistance such as food, shelter or transportation during times of crisis. The social network had launched the Safety Check feature in 2014 that enables users to mark them safe thereby letting their friends and family know they were safe during natural disasters.
