Google and HTC are set to unveil an official keyboard case for an upcoming Nexus Tablet, as per a report from Android Police. The report cites information provided to the site from unnamed sources and states that HTC and Google will have different official accessories for the tablet known as the “Flounder” or “Volantis”.

Disney India has launched a new range of portable speakers in association with Portronics. The speakers are inspired by Marvel’s Avengers Assemble. In addition, the duo has also rolled out power banks of same type.
Snapdeal has launched a media streaming dongle, Teewe which will allows users to stream media wirelessly via a smartphone application to their televisions. Priced at Rs 1,999, the HDMI dongle works like Google’s Chromecast that has still not entered Indian markets.

Xiaomi entered India with the Mi 3 smartphone last month. At the launch the company showcased several products, including the Mi Power Banks that come in 5200mAh and 10400mAh variants. These got priced on Flipkart few weeks back at Rs. 799 and Rs. 999, respectively and is went on pre-order recently. We already unboxed both the 10400mAh and the 5200mAh variants of the Mi Power banks, here we have the complete review.
Motorola is working on a newer version of Skip NFC locater that enables users to unlock the Moto X with a single tap using the device. The FCC has revealed the Motorola Skip 2.0 that will use Bluetooth instead of NFC for unlocking your phone.
Motorola had launched the original Skip accessory last year which was a thumb sized clip that incorporated NFC. However, as per the images from the FCC filing, the newer version will be a small triangular key fob that can be attached to a keyring or similar object. According to the supposed user manual, the new Skip will unlock your phone as long as it is nearby. In case you lose your Skip, or any item attached to it such as your keys, you can now use your phone to find it. Pressing a button in the companion app on your device will cause Skip to emit a sound. This can also be done to find your lost phone by double-tapping on Skip’s button.
Newest version of Skip will not be water or dust proof and work on phone running Android 4.3 or higher. You can use an official Moto app to pair Skip with your device. Motorola is expected to announce its highly anticipated new smartphones and smartwatch at an event on September 4th. We might also see the Skip announcement at that event.
It often boggles us to hear about the high price tags all the smartphone spares carry. However, there is no telling how much a specific part would cost you and most of us go by the word from the service team. The official Xiaomi flip covers and the screen protector for the Mi 3 that went on pre-order earlier this week, would go on sale next week on Flipkart. We unboxed 10400mAh Mi Power Bank few weeks back, here we have the 5200mAh power bank for unboxing. This has the same anodised aluminium finish on the outside, but it is slightly smaller in size and weighs 155 grams, about 95 grams lesser than the 10400mAh variant. Check out the unboxing below.
